They should reestablish the station at Otaihanga (next to the car museum) and build a new station at Lindale.

We tried to get a new station at MacKays Crossing for the Wellington Tramway Museum and there was no enthusiasm by the authorities to do so.

@@CapitalVideo Yes but nobody lives at McKays crossing. There are decent catchments of housing and commuters at Otaihanga and Lindale.

That’s good. That’s before Paraparaumu road by pass . That’s going back a few years

It certainly was thanks to Trans Metro, and was filmed to be part of a documentary about 'The Father of Wellington' John Plimmer and the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company, that will hopefully be completed sometime later this year.
