A Father's Day Surprise! | LEGO Bonsai Tree, New Apple Watch & Aulani Trip Announcement!

In today’s vlog we celebrate Father’s Day!! We start the day off with a fun surprise gift for Tim. I finally surprised him!! It was so exciting! Then we head to Tim’s parent’s house for a little lunch, we didn’t show any of that but we had a lot of fun. We head home and while Jackson was napping we did a little haul of the fun stuff grandma and grandpa got him. Later Tim does a little LEGO, he finished the LEGO bonsai set, which turned out super cool and he even learned some awesome facts about the set. We end the night with some dinner and a kitchen floor chat. We had a really great day and we’re so happy you joined us! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

I wish Jen didn't feel like she constantly has to downplay things. It's your first year as parents. And you had a hard time getting pregnant. Hell yes you should spoil each other. And not just this year. We know you aren't the real housewives of Disney - but you worked for a long time building your brand, and if you want to spend some of your means enjoying something, do it.

oh my gosh, Tim is so cute when he realizes what the gift is - his shoulders scrunch up and everything :) Also: he gets the gift and immediately wants to shake it...Jackson gets the donut box and immediately wants to shake it :)

happy father’s day, tim!! i just wanted to tell you guys that this video was exactly what i needed. my dad passed away in september so i had been really worried about this year’s father’s day. but this video brought me the comfort and laughter that i needed. i appreciate it a lot, and i’m glad you guys had a wonderful day!!

I also recommend doing a practice flight with Jackson so he can get used to a plane before a 12 hour trip in one. Maybe you guys should go to Myrtle beach of Dollywood to try out traveling with a toddler

I might guess that they might split the flight situation up. Maybe fly to California on first day, then fly on to Hawaii the next day. Who knows? But definitely a good suggestion.

Don’t ever feel bad for not filming family time! You deserve to have a personal life! Also I am so excited to hear that you are going to aulani! We went on our honeymoon and became DVC members with aulani being our home resort. We plan to go back in November 2022 for our soon to be daughters first birthday! Can’t wait to see your experience at the resort with Jackson!

The book is actually in Chinese. The clownfish, is actually a “shanhu yu” because ShanHu means coral (they live in corals) and yu means fish!!

The best way to fly with kids is to have them sit in their car seats on the plane. They are use to sitting in it, so it may help with them adjusting to flying and having to sit still.

Tim and Jenn have found a way to grow as KZfaqrs and still stay completely them. You can tell they are genuinely grateful for what they have been able to accomplish just by being them. I loved the "design your own ears" at Aulani. It's such a great souvenir and gave me great memories of my stay there. The scavenger hunt is also great!

Tim and Jen, my recommendation for going to Hawaii with Jackson would be to fly Orlando to LA, then LA to Honolulu. Maybe with a day or two stay in LA. Especially if this will be Jackson’s 1st flight. It would give him a break.

Awww…the box of goodies from grandma. My husband is 40 years old and his grandma still collects goodies and puts them in boxes and bags to randomly give out to her grandkids throughout the year. Gotta love grandmas!

Got engaged at Aulani earlier this year and we rented a car for $35 a day and I definitely suggest exploring outside of the resort and driving highway 3! It’s a dream Jackson as well as you guys will love looking at the mountains from outside the window! You will see an endless amount of rainbows! I’d do anything to have that experience again ❤️

The best play kitchen for kids is the wooden one from ikea, they have great quality play pots and pans too and so does Melissa and Doug. Mama of 5 here lol we’ve went through several

You need a car when you go because Aulani doesn’t offer transportation. If you just plan on being at Aulani and never leaving then Uber but beware with a car seat for Jackson. Parking at Aulani is $35 per day unless you are a DVC member. The car rental prices vary depending on time of year you go and time you spend there.

They work with a third party shuttle service. Hele Hele Transportation and the price includes the car seat.

I remember looking into my infant daughter's eyes during late night feedings and wondering what her own thoughts and personality would eventually reveal about her uniqueness. When Jackson went down the water park slide on his own, I recalled that same feeling in that he was beginning to interact with this world and reveal his uniqueness. ⌚

We have a wireless charger that does our phone, watch, iPods and my daughters Apple Pencil. I don’t recall the brand, but it was less than $30 on Amazon and works just fine!

Rent a car now! Even if you have to cancel later. We just got back from Aulani, and had a car. So thankful for that. All shuttles were not running, and having independence was the best. Do waimea valley, snorkel at sharks cove, and in the lagoon to the left of Aulani.

If you need a car seat, the easiest way is to book Jackson a plane ticket and just use his car seat on the plane. If Jackson isn't getting his own seat, then you can bring the car seat all the way in and gate check it. I usually rent a car in Hawaii, but if it's a shorter trip you can get a ride to Aulani and just rent a car for one day.
