What a year 2022 has been! Thank you so much for sticking with me and letting me continue on this business journey. When I reflect on this year, I can't quite believe how much I've done in both my business and personal life! From TK Maxx to Top Drawer to John Lewis - it's been CRAZY! But the best kind. Yay finally i got the chance to watch this video, have been sick all week. So excited to get my sweater, hopefully its here soon :D So sorry about all the strikes and delays 😒so frustrating when its not your fault and you are trying your best :( Is it still bad? I was looking at those marshmallows with such sadness. Around here we like to toast them until they’re really dark brown, but not black. As Gordon Ramsay said, “If it’s brown, it’s cooked. If it’s black, it’s fooked.” 😂 Such a magical experience, though! Looks like you had so much fun!

Happy New Year!!! I saw you packing my white sweater!!! I LOVE it! We've had some bad winter storms here in the States so recently our mail is also a little behind. Like you, most of my customers are understanding. Hang in there and try not to let anyone's negativity get you down. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with these customers! Don't feel bad about continuously bringing up the strikes. If not many know about it, then reminding people needs to be done. More people need to be talking about it more often. I completely understand when things don't arrive on time if I order too close to Christmas. Those people usually have other presents to enjoy on that day and I treat the late gift as another happy surprise! I know you have so much going on right now, but don't forget about you and prioritize your self-care, especially during stressful times. Yoga, deep breaths, hot bath with some epsom salts, etc. They all calm your mind, nerves, and muscles. The epsom salts release magnesium in the bath and help calm your body. I work out a lot so I use the one with eucalyptus oil. You've got this!

Eyyy! I think I spot my pink jumper in there! Royal Mail strikes have been AWFUL haven't they, only just reopened my ship after closing on the 12th December because it was just all too much!

Definitely not the end of the world people!! Ugh messages are so aggravating - I cringe inside every time I sit down for this task too - I sell on Amazon now and people are not as needy as on Etsy. They probably feel more removed from the process but I do appreciate it.

I'm trying sooo hard! The largest I can get in most colours is XXL - BUT! There are a couple other colours that go up to 4XL! If you would like one in a different size please contact me and I can see what I can do xxxx

I feel for small business owners with these strikes. The frustration of people being able to get refunds when you know they are going to receive their items eventually so you are out of pocket and without the product. Hang in there, the strikes can’t last forever.

Don’t feel bad for bringing up the struggles with the strikes. My friend who lives in the UK is going through the same thing and ended up needing to take a break from Etsy because of cases and refunds and other stuff. It’s really unfortunate and idk why more isn’t being done to protect you guys. I’m so sorry. I hope it gets easier for you soon. Also for the book design instead of having them lay horizontally, have them up vertically maybe? I feel it’s not time for me to plan or reflect much for the new year either, it’s been a hard very hard few years for all of us and so I’ll set goals and such when I’m ready. Right now I just wanna focus on making art and designs.

Why don’t you set up an automatic response on Etsy saying that you will respond soon etc etc - that way you won’t ever miss the 24hrs and it’ll take the pressure off a bit.

at this point i would have send an automatic out of office after soemone emailed with a message that is in the realm of if you're mailing about your order not having been delivered blame the royal mail, keep an eye on tracking if it's available'

genuine question, why do you add both a thank you card and a business card to an order? wouldn't it make more sense to combine them? (unless it's liek washing info for the sweaters ofcourse)

Totally a valid question! I've JUST ran out of thank you cards and have redesigned them to be both a thank you card and also have my details on them :D the ones on the sweaters were business cards / clothing tags :D xxx
