Awesome! I saw Mike and the touring band a couple years ago. Great show, but I'd love to see all the original guys. Hope they tour the US!

Pity that once the album came out, nothing more was ever made of it - no more videos, no more interviews, nothing. Worst of all, there wasn't even talk of a proper tour to promote the album. I mean, here the longtime hardcore fans have been waiting decades to see the original lineup get together, record new music and maybe even tour together (aside from getting together briefly on the _'Bands Reunited'_ VH1 special) and once the album comes out, it all goes back to "business as usual" with others (aside from Mike) performing under the name of _AFOS._ What happened here? It's as if there was a lot of excitement for the new album before it's release and yet ever since it's debut, it seems like it was all just an afterthought. Where is the promotion for this album? (I say that cause there are lots of people that *_STILL_* don't have a clue it was made or even released). Many like myself were brimming with anticipation at the possibility of a proper tour with the original lineup in support of this new album (even if it would only last for this new album). I'm really trying *_HARD_* not to single anyone out or blame anyone here but again - *_WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?_* I, like many (who never got to see the original lineup in person), thought this was going to turn into the one chance we all got to see the original lineup one last time but, this time, on a proper tour spanning one or more countries - after all, there are AFOS fans worldwide that were anxiously awaiting the release of the new album along with news of such a tour. I was already saving up for T-shirts and other tour merchandise and then everything just went silent. No news, no updates, no announcements - just some new shows by a different lineup for the _'Lost 80's'_ festival and that's it. It's gonna be such a waste of a golden opportunity to just let this new album slowly drift off into obscurity without proper support cause it's really good and everyone sounded great on it. Not to mention, maybe the one and only "last chance" to see an original lineup tour. There's nothing like the present to make things happen... and nothing like the future to mourn and regret missed opportunities - one choice is better than the other. Just some food for thought from a longtime hardcore AFOS fan... *_A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS RULE..._*

Dont think is going to happen! Mike is still having a ego on getting back together! And remember the health issues! Paul had a stroke back in 2020 and Frank has heart issues! It been 4yrs since "Acension" came out! I just remember them on their hayday and their music!

Wow, you made some great points here! Funny enough, it’s 2023 and I happened to stumble upon the album and I’m damn glad I did because it’s brilliant! But I never heard a peep about it or String Theory the 2nd one where they reunited again with a full symphony. I just don’t know there is that much of a demand for a proper tour at least here in the US. Mike still tours as Flock Of but only in these dinky festivals. New wave music still very much has an audience, I saw Tears For Fears last June with Garbage as the supporting act. There were nearly 17,000 people at that show. Don’t tell me New Wave is dead, I’ve got tickets to see Duran Duran to in an arena here in Tampa which is nearly sold out. As a matter of fact Tears For Fears just announced another leg in the US for their current world tour and their playing arenas as well. Just wish their was more of a demand for The Flock, but I’d really only be interested in seeing them with the original line up. They’d never get close to filling an arena over here but there are plenty of smaller venues they could play if they reunited with the original 4 and tried to headline a tour.

actually they reunited on a show on vh1 called bands reunited in 2003

It says 'together on record for the first time since 1984'. The VH1 show was just that, a performance. Here they recorded their songs again with an orchestra.
