Steve Smith is the most savage WR I've ever seen, Hines Ward is close, but Steve's tactics are unmatched. WOW. Steve was that little kid on the playground you thought you could get over on - once the game was on - they transform mentally and go for it. the small kid who caught the ball, you'd rip his jacket off and he's still score on you. that is steve smith to a T.

@deemariedubois49165 жыл бұрын
The Panthers treated Steve Smith Sr like shit all to stroke Cam Newton's EGO which was I'm-the-big-man-now-not-Steve-Smith. Not to tell Steve face to face was a horrendous way to repay him for his years of playing every down he was on the field with everything in him giving 100% each play, every game. "Most of Smith's anger was directed at new general manager Dave Gettleman, who ultimately made the decision to let the receiver go. That Smith had no idea the move was coming bothered him the most. He heard the news on WFNZ Radio in Charlotte. "If you're going to let me go, just let me know," said Smith, who had 836 catches, 12,197 yards and 67 touchdowns with the Panthers. "Don't announce it to someone else." Unbelievable way to treat a man! Steve Smith Sr was a loyal Panther and involved in the community. He gave back in every way possible. I have NOT forgiven nor forgotten the way Steve Smith was treated by the organization.

He had this rare ability to use his anger to drive him to execute and make plays at an even higher level .. most players when angry lose focus on the game at the expense of performance.. Man when he would get angry watch out cuz he is catching everything and laying out defensive backs with that vicious stiff arm! i was so happy when my ravens picked him up!!! He fit so good with them i wish he played his whole career there he was meant to b a raven and deserved a superbowl! He needs to come back and teach crabtree how to catch! Jake Delhomme was my dude growing up. I just related to him not being the best on the field but just wanted to win, didn't matter the way. He was a true firey competitor and he embodied heart and dedication to the game and you gotta love watching a guy like that play. It's what football is about.

When Steve walks over to Delhomme and says "you can throw 50 interceptions, you're still my guy" .... brotherhood!

I loved the fact that the Steelers were able to play against this beast of a great receiver.
