I've had all of them and like the Tele and Jazzmaster the best. Honestly though, my favorite guitar I own is a Godin Session HT. They're more affordable, made in Canada, and just as nice as my Fenders. The resale value won't hold as well as a Fender, but I'm never selling mine.

if you havent gotten around to, think of it like ascending and descending on the d string with the g string open and rhythmically throwing in open a strings. hope this might help getting a feel for it
