This is my favorite way to practice arpeggios on guitar and level up fretboard knowledge!
The idea is to start with a lick you've learned and expand on it. Here I use a lick that I dig from Symphony of Destruction that is arpeggio based on the b and high e strings. The lick itself mostly stays on those two strings so I like to expand on that and play that same idea across all six strings using all possible inversions. This is a fun and practical way to learn your fretboard that stems from things you actually like! This leads to having more fun exploring the fretboard on your journey to mastering the neck!
