Well……that does it! I’m going to make a Ranuculus! Your white one is gorgeous. I’ve been humming and hawing about making one for months. I just finished making the “Anker’s Tee” by Petite Knits in a white merino wool, and a second one in a linen and cotton blend. They turned out lovely and the fit is very good. Also, thank you for the hat recommendations. Another lovely vlog. 💁‍♀️🇨🇦

I so enjoy watching your videos ... your enthusiasm for knitting is infectious! I am a late to the gate knitter, having only started a few years ago. Started primarily because my sister LOVED to knit. She is gone now, and I find knitting a way to connect with her memory. I totally understand why knitting gave her such peace. I want to make your twig pattern and use the Twig Linen Quill yarn. I do like your pattern, but you will laugh at my rationale ....I adopted a beautiful one-year old cat this summer, and named him Twig because of his coloring. So this all seems serendipitous to me!!! Nuts, I know. Thank you for the twig pattern - it looks doable for me, so here goes!!

I have begun knitting your Twig pattern and am enjoying it. I ended up choosing white, pearl gray, variegated gray/black marl, dark gray, and black yarns from my stash (all Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek) for a color block progression. Five blocks at 10" per block. Twig in a light-weight yarn would make a nice bed jacket, something you don't see very often nowadays. They were popular in the 1950s. Keeps you warm, and your arms are free.

Another lovely Podcast - your Ranunculous is gorgeous. I haven't knit one yet, but am getting closer to making that decision. I've been knitting The Boyfriend Hat by Purl Soho - a fingering weight hat in 1 x 1 rib. They are really nice to wear (not too warm), but OMG, by the time I'm finished with one, my hands are thankful for the break from all that ribbing.
