I love all your projects. I do cross stitch, quilting and slow stitching and design cross stitch patterns. I’d love to try needlepoint one day. Your buggy ride in Ireland sounds wild 😮. I’m just about finished a Hipster Hat by petite knit for my hubby, we are in Queensland Australia and he is taking it on a trip to New Zealand next week.

Ripping out the back of my tessellated vest (Andrea Mowery). Somehow I managed not to do any of the arm hole shaping 😮 That’s ok, I can re do it (after leaving it in time out for this summer). I am super bummed that summer is over. I have 5 kids I’m homeschooling this year and I just don’t want to start school, we have had too much fun. I loved seeing your pictures from Ireland! That is a crazy story about the pony cart!!! I would love to test knit your vest, and I will certainly be purchasing it as soon as it comes out!

I was so happy to see you popped on yt! I always look forward to your podcast. I love the ranunculous as well. Wonderful to hear about your trip to Ireland…it’s on my list to visit. I went to Scotland 2 years ago and highly recommend going. I did bring back some special yarn 😊. I’m currently knitting the Natsumi sweater and it’s so fun since it is knit sideways, hopefully I won’t be playing yarn chicken tho. Have a fabulous time in Tahoe. I’m heading to Santa rose, CA in October.

Loving that Ranunculus! Yarn? Wondering fast forward how it is wearing? Curious as you mention the “growing” factor. Just another beauty you are wearing. ( hint hint would love the style videos of more of your handknits)…. So good! We went to Ireland and loved Jim got to golf the old course at st. Andrew’s. We then traveled into Scotland and were able to stay with our dear friends at Skibo ( the Carnegie Club)…and Jim golfed several of the courses nearby. That country is so beautiful. Have fun on your travels…. So lucky! Thank you for today.

Thanks for sharing your knits and your Irish adventures. Your projects are so beautiful and they always look fantastic on you. I am heading to the UK soon and so am preparing my knitting by completing two sweater yokes (Sea Haven and Yule Do). My plan is to get to the easy stockinette parts by the time we leave and have completed sweaters to wear while travelling…..we’ll see if that happens!

Hi Leslie, I'm excited to make your vest pattern when it becomes available. I don't recall if you mentioned if it's bottom up or top down? Also I'd like to knit it in the Öling #1, can you tell me how many skeins you used?

I so look forward to your videos; thank you! May the moment, I am half way through knitting my first Aran. I’m from Yorkshire (England) and they’re called Ganseys. Each pattern denotes different things: ropes, steps, shingle etc and were knitted in village patterns so fishermen could be identified if they sadly had been found after an accident. Initials were knitted on the Ganseys also. I’m knitting it as a remembrance of past family seamen/fishermen and the villages they’ve sailed from. Aren’t knitting traditions precious? Happy knitting 🧶

Love your new Ranunculus sweater! Also, I can relate to your needlepoint dilemma…I also enjoy cross stitching and I purchased 2 Christmas Stocking kits for my grandkids at least 3 years ago, but i rather knit so they were never starter. This year, I decided to bring them to Greece (i spend the summers here) with me and force myself to work on them, I;m so glad I did because I had forgotten how much I enjoy cross stitching. Anyway, looking forward to your next episode!

Wonderful podcast. I’m glad you got to visit Ireland. That runaway buggy! I liked your ranunculus a lot, and maybe I’ll have to knit one. I’ve just not been a huge fan of the bagginess, but yours looks superb. I can’t wait, by the way, for your vest pattern! Your elegantly simple style is very fetching.

Hi Leslie, such a fun episode. Thanks for sharing about the fishermen’s sweater, that was super cool. Also love your ranunculus and loving the navy blue such a nice detail. I just got back as well from a trip to Portugal and Spain and it was truly wonderful. Got to visit Rosa Pomar in Lisbon and it was truly incredible. Just uploaded that new podcast video today. I agree feels nice to sit and chat with our knitting community. I enjoy recording and sharing. I’m working on the Sabai Top and it was so great to knit on my top while you knitted as well. I have the clover top on my list. Her designs are so beautiful. Also I’m so excited for the vest pattern. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw you wearing it. I feel this vest will be such a great addition to my knitwear collection. Looking forward to it. Thanks 😊 happy knitting. Also you would love this Sabai Top. I’m so in love and can’t wait to finish it.

Leslie, I love your Ranunculus!!!! You have convinced me to make one. I always avoided changing some things the designer has in the pattern. You have given me courage. I always liked the Ranunculus but didn’t consider knitting it because of the gauge and the sleeves. I too am making a Best Friend Baby Blanket. My daughter is having a baby in November. I made one last year for her sister-in-law and it was fun, so I decided to make another one. About the Sandes Garn Line. I used some to make an Anker Summer Shirt by Petite Knit. I made several changes to the pattern. I added short rows to the back, for the ribbed sections in the yoke and neck I knit it on the reverse side, In other words I used the “wrong” side as the right side. Most important thing is I shortened it a LOT. It would have been way too long if I had knit it to the length in the pattern. Yea for top down knitting. One last thing. A Barbie Lou is in my future. It is so cute! And I already have some Sandes Garn Line left from my Anker Summer Shirt. I purchased several skeins too many. Loved this episode. Safe travels!😊 Michael Reed

Lovely Ranunculus and great colour on you! Loving knitting Nile cardi by Isabell Kraemer. Put this aside for a while in the spring to do another 2 projects and forgot how much fun the texture knitting was! Going to Ireland in October for a knitting tour/retreat with Trips for Knitters and think I’m going to some of the same areas that you visited. Trying to decide what knitting to take as I’m just taking carry-on luggage. Being a sweater knitter, I’d like to take a sweater to knit but time will tell. I have yarn for Nancy’s Vest by Carol Sunday but it may be a little much to knit for travel?! It’s knit all in one piece but while travelling, trying to ensure a good fit / length etc as I usually do modifications may be a challenge? Thanks for another super podcast!

Leslie, I so enjoyed watching this today, as I am recovering from he “flu”, and you made me smile so big with your story about the driverless carriage!!! I know it must have been frightening but the way you told it was delightful. The music at the end is just wonderful. You are such a joy to listen to and watch. Question, maybe I missed it, but what was that lavender/thistle colored yarn for? And what brand of yarn. I love that color lately. Enjoy your trip to Tahoe!

Hi Leslie, Love your Mom's design for the little sweater, Beautiful! The fish your working on is spectacular, what a lovely gift for your sons. Thank you for sharing all the goodness. The clip at the end of Ireland is gorgeous, the scenery is breathtaking. Will look forward to your vest pattern. Wish I could test it for you, but I'm having lung surgery next thursday, and will have a few weeks of recovery, so not sure how much knitting I will be doing. But you can bet if I can knit I surely will. Happy knitting. 🤗
