A Frustrating Sunday Drive - Acura Integra A-Spec

I wanted to take advantage of this very nice Sunday afternoon and decided to drive the 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec 6 speed manual in Sports mode.
Road closures, indecent exposure, and dumb drivers have made this drive pretty frustrating. However, it did end on a great note after coming across this special car!

Hey bro, Love the videos and the car. I took my Type S out for a country drive today too so I can relate. I would not tune or beef up that 1.5. Those engines are good until you start pushing them, then they suffer from oil dilution and carbon build up. Tuning it and messing with it for more power will introduce new issues and dash lights and anxiety. Talk to others who have done it in the past and I think you will find many will tell you it isn't worth it with your new daily, too risky and not for that much gain. Enjoy it for what it is, as it is you are pulling pretty hard on it in low gear so, I would just hate to see you have problems with it after a while. Keep up the good work and enjoy the car.

I really appreciate this, thank you! I'll definitely check more of the forums about the disadvantages of adding some modifications. The engine is too good and reliable, and it's best not to mess it up entirely. How are you enjoying your Type S so far?

hey i’ve had this car for 500 miles, any thought on when the car is broken in enough to push harder

It's 600 miles for the break in period so you can push your Integra even harder and feel more of it

Hey man, I'm from jersey too and I'm planning on buying this car in the summer. How did it do in the winter for you comfort wise? Anything I need to know?

Great question. The past two winters it did great. no complaints. Very comfy inside the cabin and the heated seats definitely helped.

@@rootedorganically4911 This will be my first car, and while I would usually prefer the higher hp engine, I want the stick and I prefer the styling of the integra. Plus my dad had a civic for his first car so its kinda like a heritage thing for me lol

@@rootedorganically4911 While I'd usually prefer more power, this is going to be my first car. I like the over silhouette of the Integra and the fact that it has a stick which is why I'm choosing that one
