a FUN day in my life as a university student! | COLLEGE VLOG | Swinburne University of Technology
Another uni vlog!! This one is a little different: my university, Swinburne, hosted a change of preferences event for prospective students and I was invited to vlog the day!
My day started at Bourke Street mall, looking for a summery dress (It was 30 degrees!!) I found a cute pink one at Cotton On. While walking to Melbourne Central I also spotted a few of Melbourne's talented buskers - it put such a big smile on my face. Put an even bigger smile on my face though was my friend Fatima. She picked me up and we caught up on everything on the drive to Swinburne's Hawthorn campus (which is a 17-minute train from Melbourne Central Station, 12 minutes from Flinders Street Station)
When we arrived at the uni we had a walk around the expo, talking to year 12 students a day after receiving their ATAR's. We also interviewed some professors and students for some information about the courses (in particular, Film and Television) as well as student residences. Then we got some ice cream and it was time for the After Party! First up we had JXN performing, an Australian R&B and pop music singer-songwriter-guitarist and internet personality. It was so nice soaking up the sun while dancing with everyone. Afterwards, I got interviewed and shared my experience from when I was a year 12 student. The girls and I then went to get some Bubble Tea (Boba). IT WAS SO YUMMY!! This is defs a new addiction HAHA
We next saw Cxloe, a pop singer/songwriter from Sydney, Australia. I had a chat with her about the music industry and obviously complimented her on her angelic voice!!
Katie, Fatima and I also shared some advice about choosing the right course for you.
Mallrat was next, an Australian musician, singer, and rapper from Brisbane. Mallrat has released three EPs: Uninvited, In the Sky and Driving Music. The vibes were immaculate.
