From one great British anchorage to another, this place just keeps on surprising us with amazing sailing and cruising spots. We're really thankful in a way how 2020 sent us on a different sailing path than we originally anticipated, which ended up seeing us falling in love with this great British coastline.
A huge thank you to www.hurtta.com for the very kind and perfect gifts you sent over to Hank!!

@@CadohaAdventures .. thx for your reply ... yes saving our oceans can be done by everyone doing a little bit .. getting people to be aware, think about it, think about their actions, is a big part of the solution. This also includes rivers, streams, creeks, and water sheds. One does not have to be on an ocean to make a difference. Yes Poseidon does keep tally and will smile and give a nod of encouragement.

You'll love it! If you plan to stay longer than a week, then you can buy the annual river pass which is about £90 and that'll say the 90p per meter harbour dues per night. I guess it's also boat length dependant but it saved us a load of money as we stayed for so long.

The Mavic 2 is so easy to fly that it almost flies itself. It really doesn't take to long to get the hang of. Although I have crashed it twice, both times not watching where I was going when flying very close to trees, so always have someone with you to watch the drone while you watch what your filming, would be my main advice if you want to fly one.

hi , a great site to see ,we have them fly over our home , It tells us when to start thinking of putting our thoughts in to putting our boat to bed for the winter and again in the spring to wake it up ,depending on which way their flying .Thirty 7 years this has been going on ,first heard them while putting a TV aerial up around 9 pm just getting dark .We have been out in the rib and seen them high in the sky and they have flown down to our eye level and flown along side us for 30 minuets between Mudeford and Hurst castle .They fly at around 40 mph and swans are quicker around 60 mph ,we saw two paddeling back to Mudeford once on our way to I O W .Four hrs later we saw them on our way back and slowed to see if they were OK as it,s unusual to see them out at sea , turning to the Bosons mate ,I said hope the don,t take off just now ,well they did wings out treading water and off they went ,throw a nob of coal on the fire mate, and we try to keep up ,45 knots later the mate is shouting ,you passed the entrance marker and that,s the harbour patrol over there ,Brake hard the water comes over the back ,never did catch the swans up . ASK GOOGLE hence we now are fast they all fly at .Have fun ,stay safe

Only just discovering this great series. Lovely video work, superb drone shots and tasteful music! As another relative novice sailor I am wondering why you did not put up a reefed main and jib to give you a bit more balance and control. Probably something to do with the currents, or was it just easier the way you did it? Although originally from Leicester (how landlocked can you get?) I sail on Lake Champlain in Vermont , so have never had to deal with currents - just fickle winds!!

Once again superb production and some gutsy drone flying. Personally, I might have exchanged a few choice words if I had lugged a 200kg rucksack up hill and down dale only to be told there was no swim at the end😉🙄⛵️. As an excercise, what is the longest you have spent on the boat non stop without getting off? How about trying a long stay (let’s say seven days) as practice for your world trip...food, water, how does Hank handle it, how do you two handle it...no use of mobile phones for two days⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️

Amazing video again chaps. Hank does look rather spiffy in his new coat!! Nice to see the plaque with regards to Col. H. Jones VC. Dartmouth is indeed a splendid place to sail and tour. Looking forward to more soon. Are your plans to remain in the UK waters over winter or go elsewhere?

There are a few dotted around the coast , maybe not as impressive as Dartmouth's. In Portsmouth sailors use the large war memorial on the seafront as a mark.

Hey Carly, Cool channel and nice to see you starting the dinghy! Can you do a unedited cold start video yourself to show how many pulls it takes just you to get the motor started and running in your next video? Also love the color on your toes in the video and what size are your pretty pedicured feet? Take care and looking forward to more adventures!
@CadohaAdventures
@CadohaAdventures 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. I'm a size 11 in running trainers although a 10.5 in most shoes and boots, but finding a 10.5 can be tricky, but a 10 just feels like it's squeezing my feet that bit much, apart from work boots, steel toecap boots for some reason I can wear a 10 no worries, although not the cheaper brands as again they seem to cut into the widest point of my feet, so I always spend some money on some new building site footwear! 👌🏻😎
