The Strike RM, via the MG Strike Rouge Ootori is responsible for me not just really me get into gunpla, but falling for the MG line in general. So good. Still need to build the OG Aile Strike RM tho funny enough. I've built the MG Duel, Blitz, and Strike Rouge. Still need to get to the Buster, Kira's Strike, and Aegis.

Bandai really struck gold with the seed series. Theres a boatload of designs that people love.

@adriflux7704 that's so real. I know much about the story since I watched the anime at a young age, but the gundam designs are so cool even without the story.

That'd be awesome, I imagine we'll at least get a Strike Freedom 2.0 and a Rising Freedom at some point

@@thespicerSith the current state of MGs, the MGEX SF is probably the 2.0. Though a Rising freedom (or Mighty SF) is definitely up there as candidate for an MG revival, and it would be sick as hell.

I have multiple versions of this mg including the ecopla. I love it but I still love the original mg version also. That's why I bought the original mg i.w.s.p. version too. Although I feel compelled to buy the rm version now as well.... funny part is I totally own almost every mg seed kit out there (and every Kira m.s. ) and still I'm more of an i.b.o. kinda guy. The kit's are that damn good. 😊

I don't know if this is a controversial opinion, but I think all of Kira's mecha look the same. Take off all the stuff hanging off the backpack and they all just look like repaints with slight detail variation. Sans the backpack, the silhouette remains the same. Though I suppose SEED is all about the backpack accessories since the mecha looks kinda anemic without them. I have the MG Freedom 2.0 and I don't really feel an inclination to get any other Kira mecha.

definitely. strike freedom itself is just freedom with gold parts, and people including myself love it for the mgex but standalone it isnt impressive. freedom is the best design out ogf the 3, but strike is also cool since it looks more like UC suits but more backpacks and those gray parts

@@Wangable I suppose the Strike looks like a UC suit, but on a diet. It's pretty remarkable how skinny its midsection is.

I can kind see it, I think the difference between the Strike and the Freedom is bigger than the Freedom to Strike Freedom but still pretty similar. It's worth a build if you want a sturdy MG, by extension the other XSeed frame kits to, minus the Aegis, but it's not gonna be everyones cup of tea.

Everything that comes after Freedom yeah for sure, part of the reason why I never bothered getting the HG mighty strike freedom, i already have the mgex so its fine. At least with the Strike while, sure there are a lot of similarities but I think there's enough that's different there that I can say that they're different.
