Got this one a few years ago as a cope since i got outbidded on a sale of the old 1/100 2004 kit... Don't regret it. But i will probably get the new MG, since that one is INCREDIBLY good looking and is as big as this chunky boy deserves. Still, this is not a bad HG for its age.

The screw holes are to tight on these older MG kits that use them. I recommend you take 2.0mm drill bit and drill half the length of the screw. This will make it a lot easier to threat the screw into the part. Test fit the screw and if it becomes hard to thread the screw in you may need to drill the hole a little deeper. Also when joining the shoulders there is a lot of friction and the pieces might be extremely tight. I suggest that you lightly sand or scrape a flat spot on part (G25). The test fit (G25) and (G4), but do not push (G4) all the way on if you feel a lot of friction because you might need to remove more material. You want to be able to push the parts together with relatively little force, but have enough friction that you can pull the parts apart by gently wiggling them.

Even back in the day they had gold runners.... We could've split that yellow runner in two so that the gold parts could have been pre gold similar to Hyaku Shiki.

Did it always say ZAFT always had problems making beam weapons, they learned a lot fr the G Weapons.

Actually more disappointed seeing the gun on the runner with the e-cap/e-pack canister already pre-molded attached to the gun. If ever remade I hope they rely on the revived Ground-type GM/Gundam design except for the internal chest mount design which relies on a ball-socket to mount the chest to a reversed L shaped joint/spine as these tend to dislocate/pop-out when making minor adjustments.

Hope they can release MG strike gundam again in a more slick and redesign model like freedom and others.

Super excited about getting the duel blitz, even if it does have the horribly abused shot Lancers. SEED writers have been terribly addicted to those weapons. Every single Blitz gundam has had both the Lancer and rocket anchor weapon. No imagination went into the blitz types 😢

I don’t care if the Desert Command is a straight recolor, I would build that kit ten times over. Though I’ll take the chance to make the two with symmetrical loadouts.

The Duel Blitz Is sexy Pity it's Just a HG. I have the MG Duel Gundam/Assault Shroud and it's a great kit. 😎

A quick note about the head, you do have to push it down with a little bit of force(will be uncomfortable) and it will click into place so it will look a lot cleaner. I am also currently fixing my rig zaku ii leg, as one of the joints has snapped(gotta love early rg)

Screws in this kit are a pain in the ass. They simply don't fit the holes.

Did anybody put a clear coat or it doesn't need one i might not put the dry transfers on it

I just found out about this video, so I decide I want to buy MG version of AGE-2 Normal as my first MG. But after seeing this, I'm in doubt should I buy this or just the HG version of it. Can you help me settle this? Thanks!

Honestly for me, it’s a mix of Convenience and availability, I now have 3 Daban kits and so far they’ve been fantastic. Their PG Unicorn Perfectibility is absolutely fantastic, plus comes with literally everything you possibly could want, all with a price tag to the equivalent of Bandais Offical Standard Unicorn. Then I got their MB of the Destiny, and that kit is also fantastic and absolutely beautiful. Funnily enough I had to put it “More” effort into that kit but it was only minor fitment issues (it has some really tiny ass pieces). Bandai has been starving us of MGs now for a while so on the one hand yes it “Hurts Bandai” that should be the sign they need to course correct and give us more MG, cause as of now the 3rd party makers are gonna take my money

Bandai refuses to provide its customers with what they want, new 1/100 kits, so I'm giving ALL my money to these third party kits. There's nothing unethical about this, the second Bandai actually begins making them again more than once or twice a year, I'll start supporting Bandai again. Until then, all they get is a big middle finger.

Anyone have problems with one of the arms ? At the elbow part keeps falling off

Dramok kits werent enhanced, they just added little customizations that made the kit more aesthetically pleasing and because of that they got shut down.

Daban still not producing Expansion Parts for PG, like Perfect Strike Parts for PG Strike....would be a solutions to create Perfect Strike Custom with double sword or launcher but in cheaper way...

This is a detailed version of the master grade. Way more better than the original interns of armor detail and effect parts

I think especially since you got it secondhand off marketplace you really shouldn’t worry about “moral culpability” for bootlegs, at least in this case

The Stamets version of this mobile suit is probably the best one... I think the Nu Gundam is probably the best mobile suit for space...
