HQ AUDIO! This is A-ha's incredible live performance of Summer Moved On from the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo on December 11th 1998. In my opinion, this is the best version you will ever hear of this song.
There are a few other clips of this performance on KZfaq, but this one has better sound. There are, however, slight audio dropouts at 1.58 and 4.35. The concert was captured on VHS, which was not always the most reliable recording device.

I remember this like it was yesterday. I was very fortunate to be there. Fox TV made a huge mistake and cut this from the delayed telecast. This was the highlight of the night. Amazing group that kind of goes under the radar, but they are one of the greatest rock bands that I ever saw.

That audience must have been blind-sided. No chance any of them were expecting to see something as impressive as that. My dude held that one note for like 16 seconds. Everyone had to be like "Wtf just happened?!"

I'm still a little more tied to the 2011 "Ending on a High Note" version, but this, as the official premiere of the track, shows clearly the energy and power it has. This band should have gotten a lot more respect over here in the states than just being written off as a one-hit wonder.

Agree. I’m 53 and just now discovering their music beyond Take on Me which is still brilliant. They didn’t get the airtime here in the US. Take on Me is still the Best video ever. ❤

Still the best version of this song. I remember waiting anxiously for someone to post this vid when the concert happened, since it had been years since they'd performed together. It was supposed to be a one-off. Magic.

wow this is stunning, so amazing to hear the 1st version. It feels more melancholic...I like the end. If I knew a-ha back then I would have died in the 1,5 years until the final single release... If they never disbanded what an album there would be between Memorial & Minor :o ...this perfomance is ace!

Nice, great picture quality as well as audio. Thanks for upload. I couldn't name the best a-ha live performance, but this is up there right at the top. It's such a shame they were doing such great work like this and it wasn't even broadcast in the UK.
