The band formed in 1982 and is most known for their major hit “Take On Me”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1985. A-ha has sold over 40 million albums and over 70 million singles. The band split in 2010, but re-united in 2015 and is performing five of their largest hits at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert.

This song played on one of the darkest nights of my life. It gave me hope when I had none, and for that reason, I will always cherish A-ha and this song! God bless the musicians that make music that touches our hearts and souls! This talent is measured by rankings and money!

You can hear here how Morten preserved his voice throughout all these years. He doesn't push, doesn't squeeze the notes, he is completely relaxed and that's why these notes are so easy for him and clear.

INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE. I feel so privileged that A-Ha are still here, performing, and ... that we get to experience the true talents they have, because in the 80's there was so much production into the music. I agree, this is such a great song, I love him singing this more recently, like in this show, better than even the original recording. He still sounds beautiful singing it at 58. I was in tears watching a video of him singing this in the Latvia show on their recent summer tour.

Never seizes to amaze me how Morten's voice never changes. He is the most vocally gifted male vocalist in the world! Yes, I said the world! As músicas do A - HA são lembranças pra toda a minha vida, eu comecei a escutar com o meu tio com oito anos e um amigo que era muito fã deles e morreu com apenas 12 anos que Deus tenha vc em um bom lugar meu irmão e hj eu vou passar essas boas músicas pro meu filho.

esta canção me remete a 1988. Eu servia no 4° Batalhão de Infantaria Blindada em Quitaúna. Todo dia quando chegava no alojamento para trocar a farda, a televisão estava ligada tocando esta música. Ficou gravada nas minhas memórias.
