On the subject of that first death, all the trainer Pokemon that have Hidden Power in this game have HP Fighting. Every single one of 'em.

You're making each run a lot easier by bringing over all the hall of fame pokes from the previous version. It'll probably be helpful when you get to the rom hacks but the vanilla games are going to be a cake walk

Awesome vid as always! Loved the foreshadowing. I’m noticing you are doing Renegade Platinim before Sacred Gold/Storm Silver. Most people who have played both these games including myself would say Ren Plat is the significantly harder one so I’d reccomend going for Storm Silver before Ren Plat. That is unless you want the challenging one first.
