If youre shooting for E-Kaizo, a few friendly tips: 1) pay attention to natures of your pokemon, check their IV's and track their EV's as you play, you will NEED optomized stats for that. 2) "level edge" your pokemon before a gym leader - get the mons VERY close to leveling past the cap, so that they are guaranteed to level up with any xp gain. 3) try leaning into your pokemons better stats - i.e flareon with 130 base atk could be utilized, and surf coverage on Snorlax with a Sp. Atk in the 60 range simply isnt worth it for, say, shadow ball instead. Much support for the channel and the series, i will be keeping up with joy!!! LONG LIVE THE KING

Idk if this will help in the future, but at 24:00 after slowbro died in the Lance fight, if you went in to mamoswine first instead of u-turning with crobat, you would’ve given yourself a crit chance (or even high roll) with ice shard to avoid any damage on mamoswine. So you would either keep your mamoswine full health, or kill dragonite while at 54 hp anyway. Keep killin it, 10 games to go!!

Heeeey another amazing video in this series! The jump from Fire Red to Heart Gold is noticibly significant when it comesto difficulty, but I'm glad you pushed through! What usually makes this games cumbersome to playthrough is the very rigid level cap between the 5th-7th gyms. Usually that's where many Pokémon meet their demise, but you went through it pretty unscaved! The loss of Feraligatr in the League was a shame though! If you could have preserved it, the Lance fight for sure would've been easier. Given that the Crobat switch there was free you could've saved him from the confusion damage (further boosted by Swagger +2 ATK buff). Nonetheless, knowledge is power, and this run felt much cleaner than your first nuzlocke! Looking forward to see your evolution for the next game, my favorite in the franchise: Pokémon Emerald!

Hey, first off: I really like your voice, and the general 'story' telling/script, great pace, nice jokes, good editing and the encounter routing was a pleasant surprise! Gameplaywise you gotta step it up for EK though, unnecessary risks with confusion and unnecessary sacrifice (e.g. sacrifice on Steelix' Iron Tail when Feraligatr wasn't even in crit range) will be a pain in harder games because these mistakes WILL snowball into later parts, but you'll learn, I believe!

One thing that is pretty common for folks don't hardcore nuzlockes it to hack in rare candies to help reach the level cap. This is even more important in regions like Johto where the level curve is just trash and grinding is painful.

Once my brother played HG and he found a shiny Tentacool. He had no Pokeballs. So glad you got to catch both Mareeps.
