Yep, it's a bad company. Lots of videos out there showing how they have bad quality and they try and force disputes by a horton chosen arbitrator instead of allowing a case to go in front of a court. Very corrupt.

Not a fan. Had a new build early 2000's in Killeen. Utter disaster. Wasn't a straight edge or level floor in the place. Foundation problems from day one. Better off just avoiding the company completely. And what I have seen of their builds down here in Florida recently...I wouldn't take one for free.

I was just looking on line if the houses they built in 2012 were better than now ..like I know that now whethere them or DSLD or Shivers builders are building poorly now or has it been like that ..

Unfortunately, these homes are going up in my neighborhood. Cheap materials, poor workmanship, and the whole build from start to finish seems to only take a couple months. The starting price for a sub-3000 sqft home is over $700,000. You can tell these home are pieces of shit. I would never ever ever buy one of these homes!

They have similar prices models in the Waco area. When you are that big I guess doing your due diligence is important as local construction quality could vary w the company as a whole.
