A Hidden Gem: Two Great Ways to Use Dillon's Cassis

With the weather finally getting warmer here in Ontario, this week’s challenge was perfect: Dillon's Cassis. Dillon's, a fantastic distillery found in southern Ontario's Niagara region, produces this delightful Cassis using only locally grown blackcurrants. If you’ve ever eaten fresh blackcurrants, don’t worry - they taste way better in a liqueur, especially in the two amazing drinks Mike whipped up. A liquor-forward "sipping" cocktail in the style of a stirred martini, and a more refreshing, "easier drinking" shaken cocktail, perfect for a nice warm weekend!

There is no such thing as a "mean" stir. There is only stir and "nice" stir.

hey just subbed ,great channel ! i got a challenge, i have this bottle of jumping goat, its a coffee liqueur from new zealand, ive made the classic espresso martinis, black russians, and coffee shots with it, but i still have like half left and was wondering if you could think of something else interesting to do with it.

I have an old dusty jar of oil that I used to fry battered fish in. What can we do with that? It smells a bit fishy.

I normally only deal with old dusty bottles but may I recommend 1 1/2oz used Fish fry oil 1 1/16oz used French fry oil 1 5/8oz tartar sauce 1 3/16oz fresh lemon juice. Shake vigorously and serve in a warm martini glass. You're welcome
