Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first and grandest palace of the Joseon Dynasty. It is a must visit when coming to Seoul for the first time. Dress up, explore the palace and end your day drinking makgeolli and eating kimchi with tofu.

I just stumbled on you channel and I love learning more about Korea. And through your vlogs I get to see it and learn more about Korean history. Plus also knowing where to go and eat good food that I can visit someday once this pandemic is resolved. I am in a process of learning the language and already have a handful of places I want to se when I visit. It’s mostly what my favorite band visited during their trainee days and places they featured on their vlogs as well. And some from the kdramas I watched and would want to see them for myself. But with your vlogs it has the real Korean history attached to it and it is fascinating to learn another culture, another history specially since my grandmother as a correspondent during the 1940’s covered the Korean War and has pictures during that time. Thank you.

Thank you so much! That means a lot to us. That sounds like a nice plan. What is your favourite band? And what places do you plan on visiting?

Your vlogs are wonderful. I hope that you can do a lesson on historic Korean clothing.

@@HowIsKorea Actually I am a BTS fan since 2016 and my sister is a super junior fan. Anyway I want to go and learn more about the history about the palaces BTS has featured during their music videos dechwita or music performances on jimmy fallon show. I would love to eat at Kim seokjin’s restaurant or the restaurants they usually eat during their trainee years and the groups shows. My sister and I would like to visit SM town building and now the newly opened HYBE building and visit BTS museum. We already had it planned last year around December but the pandemic ruined everything. I would also love to go to that restaurant you’ve featured on your vlog last time. That small authentic eating place that I always see in kdramas. Also trying street foods and night life like karaoke bars in Korea would be an adventure and a great learning experience too.💜

That is awesome ! I got interested too. Started learning more about Korea. Learnt Cooked Omurice after watching Rooftop Prince. Kimchi is a challenge though but was thrilled to find a Tin can of it in ASDA store over Christmas. I picked 3!😂
