Robin you never cease to challenge me, and this video I must share with my friend in Canada. Because their pricing is higher due to it being another country she has limited ink colors but does have the colored pencils. She's been wanting to learn more and here's her opportunity. Great techniques, still practicing all the cluster classes, moving on to this now.

Wow, so many great techniques and ideas in this video! I have the watercolor pencils and haven’t used them in a while-terrific tips for using them. i love water color pencils. the easiest way to blend them is the way that you have shown but some people also like to use more complicated liquid paint on blenders that work quite well oo.

I love using watercolor pencils! All the varieties of coloring are great just depends on what you’re doing with them! Watercoloring is my favorite!

I have watercolour pencils, but I don’t use them very often. I kind of forget about them. I’ve never done a diarama card, must try. Love the gift card holder! That birdhouse is adorable and I just love the little birdie. I love that stamp set anyway think I’m gonna figure out how to do something for Christmas for my grandkids using that birdhouse fold. It is way cute.

Thank you so much for demonstrating these pencils. I have had mine for at least seven or eight years and never used them and primarily because did not know how to use them. I have heard that glycerin is used with colored pencils to watercolor. Again, thanks! I will try to do some watercoloring! Blessings and Hugs from Canada! 😍💞

I'm happy to know you are getting those pencils out and putting them right to work! I have watched an artist use glycerin with her professional watercolor pencils and it looks beautiful! I have a really old set of SU watercolor pencils (probably 12-15 yrs old) and there are no colors listed on the pencil. Is there a way to know exactly what colors they are?

Hi Patti! The first set of of watercolor pencils SU! sold did not necessarily match their ink colors (I still have that set too). So they will be close to some of the ink colors like: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Early Espresso, etc. if I am remembering correctly.

Robin, did you say in one of your videos that you use Elmers glue for your cards? Every glue I purchase seems to clog up 😡

Hi Wanda! I don't use Elmer's glue, only the Multipurpose Liquid Glue from Stampin' Up!. The tip does get clogged, especially because I forget to cap it in between uses. I keep a straight pin nearby to quickly unclog it. I think good glued clog because they are also fast drying which is why we like them for papercrafts.
