Funny thing about King Kong is that there were later updates (other platforms if I'm not mistaken) that placed some of the most basic things like a current location on map. ... and added tents. It's like, Gamemill is acting like they care, but it's blatant that they don't care.

Happy to see Megaton Musashi get some love. The anime actually only really just started this season. The thing about the game as well is that with each newer release it would include the previous game and act as an expansion. So just think of this version as the complete package. It’s very similar to how the first God Eater game had multiple iterations of the same game, but they were adding more story and content to it with each release.

Powerslave (or Exhumed as I knew it in the UK) was on Sega Saturn, PlayStation & PC back in the day. I believe all versions were slightly different and the Nightdive remaster takes the best from each to make a unique game as PowerSlave Exhumed.

Ghosts 'n' Goblins on the Commodore 64 had 25 year old me nearly smashing my TV screen in frustration. Respect to anyone who got far in that game. Bought it again for my Amiga a few years later thinking I was older and better at that type of game. Nope! not in the slightest, still frustrated me like nothing has since.

I didn't even know it was on PCs back in the day. Ive played most of the console versions though and this new one is just as hard as any of them! To me it is at least.

@@BillScott-rc9bu I actually finished the C64 version! As I recall the system limitations made it even harder because they could only render one of your lances on screen at a time so your firing rate was very low! I was much more dedicated back then!

Bruv, Ganryu 2 is crazy good. I don't understand how they could launch it in such a bad state then fix it and sell it for 90% off. This game is incredible. You're so fast in it. The game is awesome. $2, come on.

Man you had me at PRINNY PRESENTS NiS CLASSICS VOLUME 1 Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters. I've been loving NIS' Disgaea games, and (even though I had never played it before) was super excited when Phantom Brave 2 was announced in the Nintendo Direct! I didn't even realise the first game was available on the Switch, so I am delighted to hear that not only does it exist but it's on sale!!

Kingdom Come is possibly one of my favourite games of the last ten years. I wasn’t expecting much (hadn’t really heard of it before buying it on my PS4), but it’s the most immersive and filmic experience! When it came to switch I could resist (like when I bought Skyrim again) and glad I did. Superb.

I bought megaton musashi when the sale started and now I'm stuck in a time loop, everyday I do my daily stitch and then my daily megaton musashi and then I play a little paper mario if I have the time. I've been stuck in that time loop and I think the only wait to be free is to finish the games 😁

I just ordered the physical version of Dark Souls for the Switch, which was VERY hard to find in Canada. I played Sekiro recently and I haven’t been able to scratch that itch to play something like it yet, so I can’t wait till it arrives this Friday! No more money for this sales though! 😢 (insert Paris Hilton “stop being poor” meme here)

Any Metroidvania fans owes it to themselves to play Afterimage. One of the biggest maps you'll find in an MV. Bigger than Aeterna Noctis, Hallowed Knight, etc.

Back in the day, me and my mate would chip down the arcades on a Saturday and play the games until our £5 ran out. Dragons lair and ghost n goblins were my go to. I don’t remember it being so hard, sure it was hard but not on the level you’re talking. However I don’t think the near 69 self could handle it now

Shadowman also has cut content included. Two or three very interesting expansive areas i think? This was actually one of my favorite games on N64 as a kid. However, being ~10yr at the time, i never could beat the end boss. When this remaster came out i played almost nonstop and loved it. I didn't even notice the clunk 😂 but my partner was like wtf are you playing haha

Cris tales was fun but I had a hard time finishing it because the loading time for battles was a bit much, and with random encounters you would almost forget wtf you were doing in a dungeon because the loading time was just too long.

For all who haven't played this, its a hard core mercenary company management game with turn base combat. Lots of DLC to check out but the base game is just as great on it's own.

Shadowman is a good remaster. Has great atmosphere and a nostalgic 90s gameplay. It's quite disturbing, yet at times hilarious and fascinating.

Afterimage is a good metroidvania with rpg elements, great gameplay and visuals but you have to really read item descriptions to piece together the story, it is also nothing like Hollow Knight, the only similarity is they’re both metroidvania

If anyone wants their Lollipop Chainsaw fix and can't find it in the switch, I encourage you to get Hot Blood. It's intentionally designed to look like a N64/PS1 game. It's definitely got Juliet Starling down for the most part.
