Karthik Raja speaks in a well rounded way. Likes the way he make a point by telling a roundabout story. The interviewer asks too many questions Ilaiyaraja but Karthik keeps his cool. It would have been nice to keep focus on Karthik Raja.

Some spanner hs bn flung in the works, thts bn irretrievable till date, which continues to deprive the musicians, connoisseurs & Isaignani's fans, alike, the aural feast tht the iconoclast composer hs composed, in record time, at the peak of his career. Wish Isaignani's heart & mind conspire, to propel him to compose Symphony/ Symphonies again & be the characteristically classic cynosure, amidst the cacophony, thts called music these days.

Very sweet and humble guy, hugely talented but the strange ways of the industry didn’t give him much room. I wish people realise this mistake and collaborate more with him. His early body of work in music showed a maturity far beyond his age. Things like this make me believe in fate.

Even since IR composed Raja Symphony No.1, I have been waiting to hear it but no luck. None of the interviews details where a common man can hear it. If not what is the reason, was it not recorded? Or even today is no one willing arrange the playing of that score? For all the money IR is having he himself can debut it to the public? OK I will excuse IR saying he don’t want blow his own trumpet. But what about others like Kamala Hasan? Why they are not taking steps to debut it? It’s frustrating, what is stopping it? otherwise v should stop talking about his symphony altogether.

I think the reason is that Raja has realized that his true worth will be realized only after he is not around anymore and he’s probably planning to posthumously release it, similar to some great works of Bach and Mozart

Karthik Raja seems very naive and his life revolves around his Dad. But his answers were not good enough, especially why IR is angry and doesn’t know how to talk in public. I’m a big fan of IR and a devotee(ARR can never compose like IR), but call spade a spade. Yes IR is in top of Himalayas. Does that mean ARR did not reach the top? Why you shouldn’t listen to other’s songs. MSV did and spoke high of others. IR has never spoke highly of any new comers. It is difficult to keep supporting IR. Some one needs to bell the cat.

AR never mentioned that he had work for IR for more than 500 movies...as we know AR spend more time with IR than his own father (Raja Sir mentioned about this on Ilayaraja 1000 concerts by Sun TV....till today AR silent.
