I follow the approach of an elderly Japanese man. He creates videos sharing different aspects of Japan, including politics, the economy, Japanese food culture, and his lifestyle. He speaks directly to the camera, and I'm emulating his style. I hope that our approach becomes well-liked.

I watch Ask Japan too. He has a good sense of humor. He also makes a lot of sense and he's so chill when he tackles serious issues. He thinks outside the box a lot...I wonder if this has led to his socialization difficulties. Ask Japan is a pretty cool dude. I get why you're following him.

Yu san, you were born really at the end of Showa era, were you not? I went to Japan 3 months ago, I rarely saw Japanese men wearing running anymore. You are really the remnants of real showa men!

@@yutakawithschizophrenia you’re welcome. I try remind my nephew it’s not his fault. It’s mental illness. I’m his Aunt when he was teenager he was 6 feet and big guy who was having hallucinations. My sister is disabled and couldn’t handle it. It was hard I’am polar depression. He would sometimes trigger me. But I love him. He almost 30 know lives w his girlfriend. When calls I can tell when he stops taking his meds. I talked w a therapist so I could better understand schizophrenia. We have understood if it was cancer or covid we understand. It’s an illness that’s in the mind. I have dealt w a lot hallucinations. It better to agree and understand they don’t know what there doing. You may there behavior is strange but for them it’s normal. Have compassion and accept people for who they are. Change mind set on what mental illness is. More help is needed. In California there is no help. They hospitalized Meds then back on the street. There mental ill homeless is so high is sad. I cried when I saw it. One voice can make a difference. USA still needs more work on helping mentally ill. They need support systems and someone help maybe w meds or therapy. So I hope that things will get better. Care about people. You don’t have be afraid. Just don’t argue with there hallucinations. It’s ok go along with it. Realizing they need medical help. Even in your darkest days you can get through it. It won’t last forever. Maybe by sharing your story gives others to share there and not feel so alone.

Your english pronunciation is quite good. Just one thing I think you should try to fix which is the way Japanese people pronounces the word “channel”, it’s not like the brand chanel but more like chanal. It’s like how foreigner keep mentioning video as ビデオ instead of 動画 in japanese.

@@yutakawithschizophrenia I will mention just a things that he is showing how he is poor and has to eat cheap lunch and instant noodles. If you aare familiar with the site socialblade that monitors all YT channels that are monetized you can see that hea only in last 30 days earned almost 11.000 US dollars. And this does not includesads revenue. In one of the videos when he oen his fridge you can see it is very well stocked for someone this poor. When I confronted him about it he always delets my comment. Why? Anyhow there are many more signs of this guy being a fraud but I gave him already too much space!
