The crusades were over by the time this armor style came to be, judging by the Sallet helmet, it is clear this armour is from the 15th century, the last crusade ended in 1272.

@@juanlopezvillegas1550 It depends on how you define crusades. There were other conflicts sanctioned by the Catholic church against what it considered heathens and apostates. We have for example the the livonian crusades against pagans in what's now the baltic countries that went on parallel with the more famous crusades in the middle east and at times by were fought by the very same templar organisations, for example the Teutonic order, which unlike in Jerusalem, kept a presence in the baltics until the 16th century. There is also the reconqista and even the persecution of the Huguenots, which could be considered a crusades according to some definitions. Personally I think you can call the religious wars caused by the reformation a sort of crusade since it too was a religious conflict sanctioned by the Catholic church!

Depends on the actual suit. Some are only 40lbs. A full plate suit for actual combat is about 80 a jousting suit is over 100 since those are thicker than normal
