If u have oily scalp and want to shampoo often (not everyday though) , there are a natural shampoos in the online market . Axiom and Khadi are best known ones. They dont produce any artificial lather so they are not harsh on you scalp and dont completely wash away natural oils from ur scalp.

Actually there is a Natural oil on our scalp which is good for our hair. In oily hair it's released in excessive amount which it is bad for hair. if you wash your hair everyday that oil will be washed out which causes dry and damage hair. But if you wash it twice a week then only extra oil will be washed out and the necessary amount of oil will remain on the scalp . I also have oily scalp/hair. Just appeal oil before 1-2 hours of shampooing.

I had very oily hair too because I used to wash everyday. Than my hair dresser told me more you wash more your hair will be oily. So to stop producing so much oil I did not wash my hair for a week. It was very hard, it was oily, itchy and greasy. I just tied my hair and kept it that way. Than I washed it and it felt so good. I repeated this for 3 weeks and than I started washing twice a week. Now my hair is not greasy even if I don’t wash it for 5/6 days. Mind you I also run 5-10km almost 5 times a week. Still my hair does not need more washing. It is unimaginable at first to go from everyday washing to not washing at all but after couple of weeks your scalp get use to it. It will get less itchy, less oily.

Since they used hair dryer to straighten your hair so don’t shampoo immediately it will again dry your hair like broom. For this it is recommended to use any light oil like lavender on your hair before shampoo it will keep smooth also apply a detangler on wet hair before combing.

Don't take any advice from saloons seriously, since they didn't consider all the factors like your scalp type, living place, type of water, shampoo if at all etc. Generally there are fine dust particle in Indian air that can stick to oily scalp leading to hairfall. On other side, if strong shampoo is used often, the hair gets dry as you shown. There has to be perfect balance for healthy scalp and healthy shiny hair which only dermatologist can recommended for a particular person. You should visit such qualified dermatologist at least once for deciding your hair routine.
