We finally started a Career Mode Series in Kerbal Space Program. I have 1000 Hours in KSP and I have not learned ANYTHING!

Few tips: upgrade DSN to see trajectories correctly; you can take science from every launch pad and runway to unlock quite a bit, but you must invest in every science experiment; landing legs on a re-entry pod are kinda pointless; Maybe I'll edit more if I think of any

When outside the capsule, right click on it and you see the option of "Take data". This will tranfer the Crew Report to the kerbal, and allow you to take another one after entering again.

The circular modules are only good when there is a fairing around it as it causes aerodynamic instability

@@sidspooki also I believe you picked up on it that the onion and all other circle pods DO NOT have reaction control wheels so make sure to add those!

Hey Sid 😄 love your videos and I'm very happy to see you trying new things and having fun! You're one of my favorite subs right now! Just a tip: There's a way can have multiple crew reports. 1) Perform crew report 2) Send a kerbal on EVA 3) Right click capsule, click "Take data". Right click capsule again and then click "Store data". 4) Bring your kerbal back inside and you can now do another crew report! This works any time you wanna do another report.

A few things you should do: you should try to reach different "milestones" with different kerbals, for example getting into orbit, reaching high kerbin orbit etc. This will level the kerbals up so they could do more things like the pilot gets different SAS modes, scientist does research better in the mobile processing lab and I'm not sure about the engineer. Another thing is that you don't need the landing legs on the capsule; the service bay already has some good crash resistance. I love your videos and hope that some day soon your channel blows up and gets many new subs!

The engineer level effects the amount of ore that drilling yields per second. The more stars, the more ore per second. In the DLC Breaking Ground, the level of a scientist increase the percentage of science per second that the ground placed science equipment returns. Which only scientists can place. The level of an engineer, increase the number of "power-units" that the solarpanel and the radioactive power source provides. Which only engineers can place. So remember to bring both a scientist and an engineer when placing these ground equipments. I can't from the top of my head recall the exact levels, but to present the idea; a solar panel will provide energy enough for two ground units when place by a 2-star engineer, and enough for three when placed by a 3-star engineer. The mobile processing lab is a science factory. You don't have to rush to land one on Minmus, but with some attention and maintenance, with two 3-star scientists working, it will return 400 science often enough to complete the tech tree in a quite reasonable time. (It is capped at 400 science, at which time the research is stopped until the science is transmitted to Kerbal.) And as a side not, it can level up kerbals without seeing them back on _Kerra firma_ (as in Terra firma).

Ah, it hurts to have wings on an upper stage! (Though i will say that if wings are big enough like on that Von Braun rocket they are pretty cool)

Still better than my first Time........ may the heros rest in piece at the mun. Also if you wanna play other planet packs i highly recomend "exploration plus", it makes proggresion better and its more logical

Idk if you've seen someone say this already, but to do another crew report without transmitting the first one, go on eva, take the data from the capsule, and store it back in the capsule, and then the slot for the crew report will be available again.

Adding the parachute to the booster stage DOES work, but when you staged it, the booster was still going, and while it was pushing up against your upper stage engine, you turned slightly to separate it, and I could see that it smacked the parachute and fins, breaking them off the booster itself. You can see the parachute fly off and go past, lol. I've used chutes on boosters before. It does work, but just stage it off when it's out, so it doesn't smack into anything and possibly damage the parts attached.

Yeah, turns out the real vostok capsule had a fairing for some reason...

It's lighter than the MK1 is all, but the Pea pod is a 2 seater. Unlocks MUCH earlier than the Mk2 Command Pod. Makes those Mun and Minmus trips easier to take Jeb and Bob with ya.

Still SUPER bummed KSP 2 has no intentions of adding Career Mode, instead they are going with this Exploration Mode. Still, I REALLY hope they listen to the community and reconsider. Or, the modders will do it I suppose, lol.
