I survived an emergent section for HELLP that turned into an c-hyst bc of a suprise accreta and I was awake for all of it. My first and (of course) only pregnancy. There were a ton of people in the room but one nurse kept telling me over and over that I was still alive and would stay alive. I will never ever forget her.

Everyone has different experience girl you should just prepare for the best and the worst and not think about it too much , don’t be afraid to speak up for yourself and don’t let nobody threaten you about anything you have full control don’t let no dr or nurse force you into anything you’re not comfortable with and just try to think positively no matter the situation pray to god constantly , and yeah dude I had a pretty good experience with my first which was via c section due to breech baby and I had v back with my second and well honestly it was pretty traumatizing , when you go into labor if it’s super painful via vaginal get the epidural it’s okay don’t make yourself suffer too much that’s why my vaginal delivery was traumatizing for me cuz I was refusing to take the epidural till I just couldn’t anymore so don’t do that to yourself now with my 3rd I’m hoping to have vaginal again and def won’t make myself suffer like I did with my second I’m super scared to go into labor again but hopefully everything turns out good and as long as baby and I are healthy that’s all that matters at the end of the day

Hey so update I just had my 3rd baby vaginally water broke around 3:45 am went to hospital around 4:00am ish was in labor for about 6 and a half hours contractions were honestly manageable of course a little painful as most contractions are but I was able to manage them didn’t have to get epidural this time I was not getting them frequently enough tho so they gave me pitocin and 15 mins later I turned to my side and didn’t even push baby just came out on her own super fast I only tore one second degree tear and some fissures or something like that they said it was pretty craZy and went super quickly so like I said just try to have a positive mindset no matter what happens and as long as you and baby are good that’s all that matters the drs and nurses will take care of you the best they can if you feel a nurse is being rude to you kick them out it’s YOUR labor don’t let nobody make it negative for you

My oldest child was an unscheduled c-section after a lengthy try for a vaginal birth. Stress, exhaustion, nerves. My second child was a scheduled c-section, first one of the day in the OR. So much calmer!

I had a pretty awful C section experience to the point that I am willing to drive almost 3 hours away so I can hopefully avoid doing it again, but my nurses were 👍. I felt so taken care of even though we were in a large city hospital and they had 20 other mamas to take care of

I had my tubes removed after my 4th C-section June 30..did they cut or burn your tubes out? Apparently my doctor decided to burn mine out and I was her first patient she used this method on and let me just say had she told me how much pain it would cause healing wise I would have never done it because it hurt worse then my actual C-section and the staples that are supposed to “absorb” it’s been 8 weeks and my internal staples are coming through my skin
@meganelizabeth772
@meganelizabeth772 11 ай бұрын
@@PinkPaws88 I'm not fully sure what method they used actually. I was a mess that day and wasn't even fully sure if I had wanted to have them removed when I went in for the c-section. I had many chances to sign them as I made my doctor aware that it was possible I might want to but wasn't sure. I literally signed them last minute right before heading into the operating room. The anxiety I was having that day was enough to make me not want to go through it again. First two times for me they used glue stitches that fell off after a certain amount of time. Those were okay. This time, they used stitches that absorb like the ones you mention I think because it was definitely not the glue stitches. I'm pretty numb from about an inch above my belly button down to right above my lady bits and when I put pressure on it, it hurts still, like when they pressed on it after the surgery to check up on things. Is yours an even/smooth incision scar or is it kind of lumpy? Mine kinda dips in a bit in one spot and it hurts there the most and it's healing the worst but the rest is smooth
@PinkPaws88
@PinkPaws88 11 ай бұрын
@@meganelizabeth772 my first C-section I had regular staples and had a smooth incision..my second C-section I had stitches it was smooth and my third C-section I had glue and it looked the best after healing but my 4th C-section they put “absorbable staples” on the inside and a huge bandage on the outside for 2 weeks and it’s lumpy so I think from my experience it’s all about how they put you back together as to how smooth or lumpy the incision scar is because the doctor that was associating that day kinda just bunched together where she closed me on my left side but my right side that my doctor closed is smooth
@meganelizabeth772

@@PinkPaws88 my first and second were done by the same person, same method and it was the glue stitches. Third time around it was not done by the same person and I got the same ones I think as your fourth one. My second and third c-sections ended up both lumpy. My first two c-sections were also 11 months apart but were 3 and 4 years ago now. August 29th 2019 and August 10th 2020. So I have a birthday girl today and I'm getting kind of emotional over here lmao

Hi Anna :-) I been enjoying watching your videos and was just wondering if you have dealt much with women who have fallen pregnant soon after a C section? Im currently around 4 weeks pregnant but I had my son only 5 and abit month ago via planned C section due to him being breech. Im quite worried about the physical implications for me and im just looking for some experiences from others :-)
