At that time the law given to Moses, was their Constitution, and just like the first few generations in the US, the "law" gave people the freedom to do what is right in their eyes, as long as it complied with the law, and they prospered, and in that time of prosperity, they fell away from the God, just like the US now.. historically it's obvious that God favors the nations that keep his main 10 laws, it worked for the Jews for about 700 years until they turned their back on the law.. just like us in the US.. the secularist revision of history tries to hide this fact, but the philosophy of the founding fathers, and their historical works make it very clear..in the US Constitution "Liberty" just represents the freedom of choice that God allows us.. I was taught the US was unique with it's ideas of Freedom, but really it's a gentile knockoff of the period of judges, just worded differently as to get secular support, while acknowledging our system is totally inadequate for a non religious People..paulyanity is confusing many because they dont follow the commands of Jesus, the Law is freedom, not slavery, it was given directly by God, not weak and beggarly Angels like Paul claims..
