Whether our Mom's depart this earth in their nineties or fifties it is atremendous loss all the same, especially when it has been a loving relationship. I too have had a close relationship with my Mom. She' is now 81 and I, 59. Although she deals with some physical challenges, she stays active n her mind has remained ntact. I attribute it to faith in God n good habits. Her outlook in life influences my own till this day🌹

Just wanted to add something that I don't hear alot of people talking about. Sedum. I grow autumn joy. I have found it to be one of the best things for stings, bites, cuts, and burns. It's also very helpful with arthritis, joint, and muscle pain. Fire ant bite? Grab a leaf and scratch one side of it to release the juice. Place it directly on the sting. The pain will be gone in a minute or so. Burn? Same thing. I take band aids or tape and cover the area with scratched up leaves and tape in place. I've been amazed at how well this works. My sister suffered from such arthritis pain, she couldn't open or close her hands. I gave her one of my sedum plants and had some moringa powder delivered to her. She had her daughter mix up half sedum leaves, half moringa powder then she mixed it in warm coconut oil to cover the leaves. She was in a hurry for relief, so she didn't bother straining out the leaves she started immediately rubbing it into her hands. In 3 days, it was like she never had arthritis! Every day it was getting better. The 3rd day she sent me a video of her peeling potatoes! She hadn't been able to do that for almost 3 years! Her Dr was totally amazed.

Neat! never saw the word contained therein. It peeked my curiosity so as to look up its etymology. migraine (n.) late 14c., migrane, "severe headache, especially on one side of the head," from Old French migraine, migraigne (13c.), from the vulgar pronunciation of LateLatin hemicrania "pain in one side of the head, headache," from Greek hēmikrania, from hēmi- "half" + kranion "skull" The corrupt form megrim was common from 15c. on and is the principle entry for the word in Century Dictionary (1895), but it seems to be now obsolete or archaic even in its secondary senses of "depression; low spirits" and "a whim or fancy." The origin of words fascinates 🌎🌍

I'm suffering severe headaches almost 24/7. One side of my head..temple, the back of my head my ear and jaw. The hospital gave me three ultrasound scans for Temple arteritis...all negative . All began in May this year. Have to say I'm at my wit's end nothing so far has helped me. I've lost 2.5 st (33lb) in weight and my balance when the headaches are bad is greatly effected. I keep searching for something that may give me relief and found the video and comments here interesting. Many thanks. Best wishes from the UK

I'm very sorry Pat. I hope you will be able to find relief soon. I am not able to offer any advice as I experience migraines sporadically n take meds. I avoid certain products that seem to be triggers such as aged 🧀 n 🍷 (due to the sulfites). I also go on daily walks n try to stay hydrated. Perhaps someone here can offer some advice.

As I watch this video, I got sad. To explain. My mother was learning about nutrition and alternative medicine in the years before her passing. We had an opportunity to do a day class together. I still had small children at the time so I did not have the time to explore it more. She passed in 2001. I am now watching videos of several channels in which I’m getting a lot of information to the point of irritating my husband (he has some ailments I’m trying to take care of at home). The mother/daughter relationship that you have is the relationship i was wanting. I am hoping that I am making her proud as she looks down from heaven. ( I also think she is the one that said (watch these videos when i was in search of educating myself to get where i am today). Love and Hugs from Maine❤

Sunlight triggers your migraine. Cause me to remember my sister whom just passed away form the rarest known from of lung cancer. Long story. She was allergic to sunlight. I take daily medicine for very bad headaches. If the weather changes, I accidentally eat the wrong thing, smell the wrong thing or any number of triggers, I get a throwing up migraine lasting up to 3 days. I tried feverfew in the past. After watching your video, I realize I may not have taken it at the right frequency and given it a sufficient chance to work and hopefully replace the toxic stuff I currently take. I know ginger helps with severe attacks and helps me avoid triptans almost half of the time. I’m praying feverfew will be the answer to many years of prayers. Thank you for making this video.

I was first introduced to feverfew about 35 - 40 years ago. I was out with my son on a hot sunny day when a migraine started. We looked for somewhere to get out of the sun and the closest place was an herb store. The woman asked if she could help me and I said not unless you've got a cure for migraines. She said..."well, as a matter of fact"... 😆 I've used feverfew on and off since then. The supply I got from her was flowers and leaves. What I find now is leaves and stems. I am never without it now because it is currently the Only treatment I can use. A GI illness I had several years ago means I can never use triptons to treat migraines. It does a good job controlling mine but unfortunately doesn't prevent them. Right now I average 2 per month lasting 4 to 7 days, sometimes 10 or more. I was blessed the day I was led to that little store.

I just found your channel 😀 I love your way of living. I’ve only made Usnea tincture and chaga drink but I am going to continue watching your channel for more ideas. I have always been interested in natural healing. This is so wonderful that you do this.

I LOVE passion flower/May pops. They used to grow wild at my childhood home. We would pick them and eat them just for the tartness. We had no idea as children they were good for us. Thank you also for sharing about the aster family. We have frost aster here and I'm about to go harvest some. Thank you also for sharing your resource materials. I'm going to get the medical herbalism book. I find it so interesting that the things we have right outside our front door is really what our bodies need.

I am loving yals videos. I really like how you stress to your viewers to check things out before ingesting. I made some notes, but will be buying a book.

A passion flower vine is growing on our chicken pen! We've seen them randomly one here or there on our property over the years. Now, I'm learning about them 😊

Your garden and knowledge are like a dream! It feels so overwhelming to learn so much. But I hope to get better, headaches have been plaguing me lately. My herb and tea garden just got started last year but I have SO much to learn still.

🌷💕😢 I can feel the love and nostalgia in your words. It's so beautiful how your mom made such a significant impact on your life, teaching you invaluable skills and raising a loving family. Cherishing those precious memories is truly important. I'm curious to know how a leaf a day can help with migraines. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt story. Sending you warm thoughts and virtual hugs. 🍃🌼🤗
