A Level Biology Revision (Year 13) "Limiting Factors in Photosynthesis"

In this video, we look at limiting factors in photosynthesis. First we explore how we can identify what factor is acting as the limiting factor. We then see how light, carbon dioxide concentration and temperature can act as limiting factors but why water is not considered to be a limiting factor. Finally, we explore the effect of low light intensity and low carbon dioxide concentration on the levels of key molecules in the Calvin cycle.

The most effective way to revise is to watch my videos on that topic. Do this early so you are under less pressure. Try to watch each one more than once. Make a note of the ideas that you find most challenging and then go back and watch those videos again. The key to successful revision is 1. plenty of time, 2. repetition and 3. reflection on the topics that you find most challenging. Best wishes for your test.
