In your position, I would take acting classes and do some live gigs with a theater group or something similar. In that way you could make connections, and also you could get used to perform in front of a lot of other people who maybe don't know you from online platforms and could give you solid grounded feedback, because they are not your fans. Beside that a lot of actors practiced 15-16 hours a day after they got a role, because they wanted to give their best, so acting is a never ending learning process and if you have a passion for that, then go for it! :)

As a published writer, all I can say is keep writing a little bit every day you can. Getting 'good' with words often comes down to finding your own voice, which simply takes time writing to find, even if what you're writing right now or the version you write first doesn't go anywhere- it's all building your skill. I'm glad what you wrote gave you butterflies! That's literally the best thing you can do- write something you would want to read. My only other advice is to believe in the power of drafts. Write what feels good now, on the first draft, and worry about the actual meat and potatoes in the second/third/fourth pass. It's so much easier to mold the structure of the narrative when you have a nice raw version to start with vs. trying to get it perfect the fist time through. Good luck and have fun!

5:43 I definitely understand feeling like that. There's so many people who want the same thing and don't make it even though they work very hard. There's so many jobs that the world needs and sometimes it's hard not to br like "well the world doesn't need more actors and actresses". But at the end of the day that's what you truly want and there's no shame on that. You already have a platform and a large platform. Starting with KZfaq was a good idea because now you have a lot of people who would definitely watch and support something you're in. Now you really just have to start going to classes and work shops, take lessons and go to clubs. You'll meet people and make friends who can get you in. It's totally possible for you and I'd love to see a movie with you in it. We wish you all the luck

Another former actress giving unsolicited advice lolll but you’re right, step one is moving to LA. Film/TV is in LA, (New York is more theater) and self tapes are great to send in but exactly they just get lost in the void unless you know someone :/ you have to move to LA so you can start taking classes at a studio or something similar, and that helps you network and opens up opportunities, and helps you get an agent. A commercial and film agent is KEY. Casting calls and auditions for FILM/TV are in LA (most of the time) so it really does come down to location :/ as you said, it is DIFFICULT. Not to discourage you because you DO have a leg up given who you are and your level of “fame” already, but it’s still difficult. It’s a very saturated industry, it requires nonstop work :( I really believe in you, and if you’re super serious then you know what you have to do first to get there, but it is roughhhh LA is rough lol but again you are at a huge advantage so you have a REALLY decent shot. Do it Kennedy if you really want to!!! Just be prepared to work for it!! You can do it you are super determined and talented!!!

Most cities have an indie film industry. You'll probably find a group of local filmmakers who you can network with and get involved in productions behind the camera. It will also give you the heads up on acting parts as well. Alternatively, you can also go to a local production group with a story/script you want to produce and you can tailor a character in it that you would like to be the actor for. Its about gaining experience so don't aim too high too soon!

I really loved the getting ready part, the way it was filmed and edited, it made me feel happy and peaceful :)

Have you ever heard of Maladaptive Daydreaming? I'm not trying to diagnose you, but the way you described how you go through life is EXACTLY how I go through life. Everything I do is laced into a scene or a story that I've created in my head. I can listen to certain songs for HOURS and imagine myself in an act that I've created. Sometimes I create a scene in my head that's SO moving, that I can literally bring tears to my eyes lmao. Maybe this resonates with you, maybe it doesn't. Talent is something that never goes to waste, and if acting is what you've decided for you, the best opportunities will find their way to you. hi! i'm a theatre arts student, acting major, and i think acting classes would really help like Stella Adler Studio in New York. It's where some actors had workshops like Mark Ruffalo. I think they have online classes. You could also start from theatre acting like most successful actors: Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, etc. and i believe if one is passionate about something, you could achieve it by studying, practicing, being open to learning and mentorship, rather than just being onscreen for the sake of it. 💖 Anyway, break a leg!!
