Had the honour of playing alongside Derek, back in 2010, when he was the Queen's Piper, and P/M Roger Huth (ex-Scots Guards) on two occasions: both great guys and top pipers.

Well played sir. I'm currently learning, but still on the practice chanter. This is a piece that I've chosen to learn to play off of my own bat, and your example gives me inspiration. One day, if I'm even half as good as you, then I shall count myself fortunate 🙂
