I'm 7 years on T now and watching this, I see a lot of myself in you. Which is crazy to me, because 10 years ago I used to watch you and wish so so badly I could be like you. It felt impossible at the time, but here I am a decade later feeling like I probably am more like you than I could've ever known, and it was just... Time and resilience that made it apparent. congrats on 14 years....I'm 57 and 8 years in. I can relate to everything you said. I watched your videos long before transition and it gave me so much insight as to what to expect and hope so thank you Aydian. As for the hair let it go bro...your a handsome man hair or no hair :)

I am transfem, and your hair looks fine. Also 1-200/1000 AMAB people have XXY (Klinfelter's syndrome) and they have massive hips. I can speak from this because I have XXY and I have massive hips although I really like them. It's not as uncommon as people think, plenty of cis guys have them. Also I am tall and I really don't like it, it's not for everyone.

Consider trying topical minoxidil if you want to hold onto your hair for longer. It's a growth stimulant, so it won't address the underlying cause of hair loss (hormones), but it works. There are promising drugs in experiment that should be able to protect your hair from hormones in the future though, mainly pyrilutamide, so don't think that shaving your head has to be your only choice in the long run.

It's time.. I've shaved mine.. the worst thing is trying to keep it.. and being self conscious about the thinning. You have a GREAT shape skull. Seriously.

I’m going on 3 years in my transition journey and still waiting for my top surgery. I was supposed to get it last month but ended up getting laid off in May. So had to reschedule which I still haven’t but truly need to. I’m thankful though at my new job they just see me as a guy. No slips happened thankfully. At my other job there were a few people who misgendered me and I corrected them. I have a beard and mustache and still somehow I get she or ma’am like WHERE? When I was a stud I got he. People are so weird. But last night I was picking some food up and the asshole hostess gonna call me ma’am thinking he was being respectful when I have a whole face full of hair dressed in my jeans and coat. I was triggered and kind of went off on dude while correcting him. It’s cool though sometimes people need to be set straight so the next person they encounter they think twice on trying to be “respectful” but really pure ignorance.

I find my facial too itchy I just have the gate. I even find that itchy. I grew hair all over my body before a year. I knew that would happen since my Dad was hairy and I take after him. I am starting to go completely bald on my head. I knew I would have balding. I just shave it off I have been on T for a shorter time than you. I am older too. I am 45 years old. The balding I knew would happen since it runs in my family. Some of my work I clean in the showers. There are some guys with bigger hips than you and I. So that made my disporea a lot better. There are lots of guys in the shower room that are shorter than me. I am only 5 foot 4. My voice is deeper than yours so I guess I am lucky that way. Your voice does sound find to me.

I don’t think your hair looks bad! But, if you didn’t want to be a “bald” guy, you could look into hair implants or hair systems (that are nonsurgical) that look super natural!

shave it and wear hats if you don't completly hate it
