3 жыл бұрынI had let my flight following and comfort zone with Class B ATC erode, so I decided to up my game with a trip from Bolton Field in Columbus to Burke-Lakefront up in Cleveland. Why Cleveland? Because that's where the good deli's are!

I bought a pre-built ELSA RV-12. Have watched all of your videos. Really appreciate them. I especially like the videos where you explain things like auto pilot. As a new owner I’d also like some info on basic things like speeds/using flaps/RPMs etc in the pattern. Since you’re a CFI maybe if you could take me on (remotely/of course I’d pay). I took my wheels to a motorcycle shop and had them balance all three wheels. Wheel shimmy is gone. Smooooth.....touch and goes..

Great vid, as usual. Sir, do you ever use the vernier feature (screw in for more power, screw out for less) of your throttle? If not, why? Is it not a practical feature? Thank you very much!

Absolutely! I use the vernier for any adjustments in flight almost always. It’s very helpful in making those little adjustments during cruise. It’s also handy during the pre-takeoff run up for getting the rpm at 4,000 rpm.

Cleveland reminds me of Dutch Harbor or Cebiy airport, in that they are right by a huge body of water.
