Welcome to Engineering Scale Models, where the details live! Engineering Scale Models is a channel that focuses on the extra details that can be added to a model kit. It is hosted by me, Jason, I have been building models for many years and I hope to pass my experience onto the you the viewer. I use my engineering and machining background to tackle the problems that arise when incorporating these highly detailed upgrades. There are many issues with most models kits in general and once you start adding on the details it can get overwhelming. The integration of multiple kits from different manufacturers can be challenging, not to mention the sometimes of inaccurate details that are supplied. I hope that this channel is a source of information you can use to tackle these issues. I use a variety of upgrades from companies like Pontos, Infini Model, Eduard and many more. There are many types of models being built on the channel from ships, planes to tanks in a variety of scale. I even do the occasional kitbashing of the Warhammer Franchise. I do not claim to be an expert, I just want to share my journey of building models with all of you. I review many products from kits to tools, but I will always give my honest opinion whether good or bad. I know there is no one way to approach a task and I will use many different techniques with varying degrees of difficulty. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
