If you've been following the Mario merchandise scene, chances are you've noticed a trend. That trend being that for whatever reason, plushes of Luigi always seem to become highly desired and collectible. Notable examples being the world a-list famous Sanei and or San-ei Mario Party 5 Luigi and the simply iconic Kellytoy Luigi, both of which are highly demanded by fans and collectors alike. However, what if there was a plush set dedicated to Luigi himself? Well, there is! And in this video, we talk about just that.

This set has actually become somewhat rare. The polterpup went from 11 dollars 2 years ago to almost 50 and the scared Luigi plush went from 16 dollars to the point that I cannot find it anywhere on amazon or ebay anymore. There is only bootlegs. Edit:I just found an official scared luigi on ebay for 90 dollars. Absurd.

After I saw this video I went to go buy a Polterpup plush. Unfortunately everything was really expensive except for this One website. I ordered it from the website and The plushy didn’t come in until a year later. It took one year but now I have a polterpup plush😂

I have to thank you PatMac, although I collect anime/manga, I used to collect action figures and to some extent still do but it never crossed my mind to collect prototypes. You and LSSQ actually got me interested in collecting at least one figure series prototypes. In addition, thank you for getting me back into collecting action figures, something I thought would just be a "here and there" type of hobby yet you and LSSQ got me back into collecting figures fully. So, I thank you both!

I think on the scared Luigi plush and why the nose is upwards is because I think that they were aiming for when he gets scared his nose goes up, so that’s why the placement of the nose is upward

I swear, the prices for that Joyride Studios Luigi's Mansion figurine are so insane that if the ones that were modified for a certain Robot Chicken skit (Grand Theft Mario) were being sold, they'd be much cheaper than the actual unmodded figurines. And wanting one of those puppets seems pretty damn morbid considering what happens to Luigi near the end of that skit.

I came across quite possibly one of the most beautiful pieces of Luigi's Mansion merchandise recently. I found a First 4 Figures Luigi's Mansion 3 statue in a game shop, just sitting on the floor. I just had to have it. It sits beautifully among my amiibo figures. The detail and size are the main reasons I got this figure. It's definitely beautiful! =^-^=

I love the fact that they made a plush set for Luigi's Mansion, but I agree that there should have been more characters in the set such as Professor E Gadd, King Boo, or even some of the Evershade Valley ghosts (like the greenies as an example). I might buy a Luigi with the Poltergust, but I have already made a custom Poltergust 5000 for my Little Buddy Luigi. Great review Pat Mac.

I personally would like a king boo plush. I feel like it would be more balanced with two ghosts and two luigis. And king boo is mainly in the luigi 's mansion series. Also normal boos already have plushs so it would be nice to have king boo anyways.

I really hope so, there's no way Sanei could just not make an Odyssey set, right? As for characters, they could go a few ways. Either do what the amiibo did and make a set of Mario, Peach and Bowser plushes all in their wedding suits, or, what I feel would be better, make a set like the Galaxy set that contains various Mario plushes in different costumes! We could have a Samurai Mario, a Chef Mario, etc. Either way we'll probably hear about it if it's happening next year, probably at the Tokyo Toy Show. Could be really exciting!

PatMac I hope so too, I personally would love to see a mecha wiggler plush but there's no way that's gonna happen and they'll probably do what they did with 3d world and 3d land where it's just Mario in a costume and for this case it'll probably be him in his suit along with Bowser and Peach in her wedding dress. I can also see the broodals getting a plush.

Funnily enough the first Luigi's mansion plush was the first video game plush I ever owned, I begged my parents for it because I was a huge fan of the series, despite not owning any of the games, but me being weird, I cut off the tag and polter gust a day after I got it.

I had the normal Luigi plush in that plush set but one of my cousins accidentally threw it over the fence when we were doing tricks with plushies outside. I will probably never get it back :(
