Early in the week at the 2022 conference, attendees enjoyed the Gatsby-themed Welcome Reception, filling the plenary rooms for both OPTO and LASE speakers, presenting novel ideas at the poster sessions, catching up between talks, and much more. Exhibitors spent all day setting up shop on Monday for the grand opening of the Photonics West Exhibition on Tuesday-it was great to get back to face-to-face business.
Meanwhile, over at SPIE AR | VR | MR, attendees tested both new and old VR headsets, listened to talks on design challenges and successes for XR, and met with up-and-coming supplies in the XR space at the exhibit.
