Were adding in book 1 for my 3rd grader! What other LA do you like to add in? I almost bought TGATB LA but I think I'd rather piecemeal

Thank you for the flip through. Very helpful. Are you using this solely for your English curriculum? I have a 14 yr old girl and a 12 yr old boy… his attention span is very short and he hates to write- so this may be perfect… however.. not sure if it’s meant to be the core or just supplemental curriculum?

For those of us unsure, there are 3 week free trial lessons available through IEW for both of these resources. I just signed up for them and received them as downloads. 👍

Does the teacher guide still have a link where you can print the student's books on your own? In previous years I just purchased the teacher guide and printed the student books on my own.

Yes, it has a link for extra resources but not for a complete student book on its own.

The only language at this time, yes! It may be this way for the coming homeschool year but for now I am going to see how it all works out. No decision made yet, but planning for it to be that way! Also, yes! The teacher's guide is helpful for addressing new concepts!

Hi there, I want to use fix it grammar but I am unsure where to start my soon to be 9 year old. Is town mouse country mouse doable for a 9 year old? We have done nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and pronouns. He will probably need some review as every child does at the beginning of the year. Thoughts?

We started at the beginning when we began 2 years ago. They do have placement help on their website, that would definitely be where I'd send you first! 💜

I think it depends on personal reference. For me personally I like to have it to reference. ❤️ Totally necessary...probably not. Again, personal preference.

We did! We don't use them as often as I should. We just haven't really needed them at this point so far!

We started both boys on book 1 just to lay the foundation of the program. My oldest was 11.

How old are your kids? This sounds very interesting especially when you said you get it done in 10mins or less. Our Grammar curriculum took us forever to finish!🥲

I have an 8th grader and a 6th grader using Fix It.
