Denison has been an answer to prayer for our home this year. It makes my heart so happy that denison is beginning to get mentioned more often.

That is wonderful! I agree with you completely! How did I homeschool for 10 years before I even heard of their program?! It is time!!!! 👏❤️

Denison has been so great for my children. Watching my 8th grader do so well with it after struggling with math for his entire schooling has been so amazing.

Hey girl! Such great topics you covered. I’ve never heard of Denison as well. I’m going to check that out for my son. He is in fifth grade, but I’m on the lookout for math curriculum. Thanks for sharing.❤

My husband is a long haul truck driver and this past summer I went with him. Of all the states I saw, Idaho was my absolute favorite. It was breathtaking! So neat to find out you live there. I'm in Va.

u were talking about your hair & I started to cry… hormones maybe lol? but I’m 36 & so many changes in my body over the past few years. My hair, my body, & other things…I have dark hair & don’t dye or cut. The white… forget the gray! It skipped to white 😂but that & the thinning 😢I already have thin hair … anyways, through all these changes- it’s reassuring knowing others are there or experiencing something similar. Thanks, I really enjoyed listening !! 💗

Omgosh 🎉 we are in Idaho too! And same on the hair journey and greys 😂 and healthy products but I never tried that company so imma have to try now thank you 😊 Yes yes yes on All about Reading! It was a huge game changer for both my kiddos. My oldest would throw big fits and crying when it came to LA before AAR. Such a blessing! I’d love to know what Homeschool Conventions you attend when you do? I haven’t gone to any here but been wanting.

How do you do grading or go about grading within your homeschool? Has your approach or technique changed over the years?

My hair is also turning gray, but I didn’t want to start down the chemical dyes path. So I’ve been henna/indigo mix with other hair herbs, and since I’m brunette it actually works really well and doesn’t give me a “boxed home dye” look. It’s quite the process to apply though 🤣

Super upset that Denison isn’t an option in Canada. Shipping and duties is astronomical. Wish they had pdf’s and online streaming. :( Love all your videos ! I’m with you on the Lord being the one who sustains. He is so kind to allow us to homeschool.

Oh that is such a bummer! You should totally reach out! Who knows...maybe that'll be something they can do in the future?! Yes!!!!! So, so grateful to get to do this life, homeschooling and homemaking and all the things! It has been such a gift to our family. ❤️🙌

Hi there! When you say you take your time in Denison and review (just move slowly), how exactly do you do that? I think you said you are not adding in extra things. But when I son moves through the lessons, I almost feel it’s quick at times but he is doing fine on his tests. Just curious what you mean. Thx!
@SimplyLivingIt6 ай бұрын
I'm sorry I'd didn't clarify that! We just move through the lessons as they are delivered. We don't add anything extra, and we don't do anything additionally to practice concepts, etc. The lessons as lined out in the textbook have been all we've needed thus far. 😊 They seem to have enough review built in for both my boys to get all the practice & review they need. ❤️

I don't have a big budget for homeschooling. We already spend the money.for Dennison Math because it's important for my kids to do well in Math, I want an English program that is also not real exprensive. They have ADHD and HATE writing...so I reall don't want alot of essays and writing they literally get a mental block and melt down when they have to write. Any suggestions?
