'A lot of people suffering': Amanda Rose gives perspective on former PM's testimony

Small Business Women Australia’s Amanda Rose says she hopes Scott Morrison “shows some compassion” to the people who “suffered depression during the COVID-19 pandemic after the former prime minister revealed his own mental health struggles.
Ms Rose’s comments come after former prime minister Scott Morrison is set to reveal details in an upcoming book on his mental health struggles.
“Politics can be quite nasty,” she told Sky News Australia host Steve Price.
“Show some compassion to all the people that have been impacted by his decisions and by politics.
“We had a lot of people suffering depression say from the lockdowns during COVID and so forth.”

Well the anxiety was probably from not wanting to get caught hold 5 ministerial positions, I mean I'm sure all sorts of criminals get anxious about getting caught out too. Never should have been a minister let alone prime minister. Outright dishonest and a scar on this nations history.

We need compassion for an MP who gets paid huge amounts for the rest of his life because he had to deal with a position that requires negotiating with other MP's..and support men's cricket teams... And not women who experience real trauma and mental health issues due to violence....seriously

Why would you need to get perspective from someone on tv or KZfaq?….if you have any health problems the logical solution is..go and get real help instead of listening to has been celebrities giving advice…if Morrison wasn’t prepared to cop some flak in politics then he should have chosen a different career..he clearly knew what he was letting himself in for….so why should anyone have sympathy for self inflicted wounds?

There are 2 questions that parliament must answer before it passes any resolution. 1: is this in the best interests of the common voter? If no, then it progresses no further. If yes, then Q 2: will this resolution result in damaging the living standards of the common voter? If no, it proceeds, if yes it does not progress for any reason.

Lol many people are on meds due to trauma and violence committed against them.... however it was Morrison who never has gone to a rally against violence against women..he did not show compassion towards them.... however we need compassion for those who have never experienced violence however experiencing anxiety due to having to deal with negotiating with people....are you guys serious....
