No,no,no. Corinne should not have A baby goat. She should have 2 baby goats because they are herd animals and would otherwise get very lonely.

Lol. I got it. When I was in an Early Childhood program we were not allowed to call a child a "kid" because we'd be calling them a baby goat. You'd be surprised by how many Early Childhood teachers, at least that I've encountered, get so frustrated with me calling the young children we were taking care of as "Kids". Those teachers viewed it as highly inappropriate. It could be different in other places, but the many times I've gotten a good smack on the hand for doing that. (I wasn't literally smacked, but you get the point.) Sorry for the long story. This sparked a memory for me lol.

I was diagnosed with leukemia of March this year and when I was at MUSC all I would do is watch your videos. (along with Robs of course. I hope he is doing well💖)Then when I was heading back to the hospital in Charleston to get my bone marrow transplant i watched the video of what has happened to Rob and yourself (which no one should have to go thru any kind of illness and disease what so ever) that video gave me so much strength as strange as it may sound when I was getting double chemo along with radiation treatments to prepare me for my transplant. I just wanted to say I love and appreciate all that you guys do for your fans and also for the love you both have for each other. Thank you so much for the strength you gave me and reminding me to smile and enjoy life no matter how shitty life can get. My neighbors had a goat named Stewie, he got his name because if he ever did something really bad they’d turn him into stew. As far as the rash (never thought I'd start a sentence that way, lol) it's not necessarily something like poison ivy or nettles that can cause that. If you're sweating and brushing up against plants, pollen, leaves, burrs, grass, whatever, it can cause enough irritation to rash. I find the heat/sweat factor to be the biggest here. I was born and raised in Ohio and never had this issue. Yes, I've had ticks and chigger bites and poison oak and stuff like that, but not a general and inexplicable rash. I've lived in Austin, Texas for six years now. I will get a rash when I hike in this extreme heat. But it's always in a place like my sock band, where I'm sweating and where my skin is constantly touching brush and whatnot. That's my theory about your rash. You're welcome. Also, no one asked for it, including you, so I'm sorry as well.

Hey Corinne! A neat project for Corinne vs Gardening would be a bee/butterfly water station or even a bee hotel! Pinterest has a lot of tutorials for both of them, and they'd be great near your flower garden to help with pollination!

We kept two of those yellow garden spiders as pets (in the unattached garage) when I was younger! We had several others in our hostas that we left alone to help with the mosquito situation. They were awesome! The backyard is looking gorgeous and it's good to see a place you can rejuvenate in :)

One of the best things I've done since moving to a farm a couple years ago was educating myself on the "scary" things that live here, like spiders and snakes. I joined a few identification groups on Facebook and have learned so much. My silly, hysterical fear has turned into a proud enjoyment. I get so excited when we find a snake in the duck/chicken coop!

The garden spider is a very good sign. It means you have a healthy ecosystem working in your backyard. They help catch bugs that could be causing those holes in the hastas. I grew up around them and I thought they were the coolest! They are definitely a good spider to have around!

1. Please don't have just a flower garden, have one ,but also grow them in with your veg garden . Flowers help when you plant the right companion. 2. Get mini goats as in dwarf because OMG! They are just so SO cute, and yes, get two does, no billies. 3. Try using a small weed torch. Doesn't change your soil, in case you actually want to plant something and it will kill the roots and all. 4. Love what you've done to the place. And .... 5. Hope you and Rob are doing great. Have a awesome day 🌛💜🌜

Fellow NC person here! Try not to over water your basil and other herbs! Rosemary does best with morning sun and not too great with evening sun. Also if you plant/are planning to plant sage, just trim it back in the winter, it’ll grow back! We grow so much of it here! And my favorite tip is if you let your basil flower, hummingbirds will go nuts for it! We’ve even had finches try and get the flowers on basil! Happy growing!!

I found my lavender and rosemary took a year to settle in its new home then grew loads the next year. Things like basil or cilantro insects love to eat, I grow them on a sunny window indoors and watered 1-2 times a week, never had a problem.

It's not squirrels, it's slugs!! There are tons of natural ways to get rid of them, we have to do that at my house. Also basil loves the sun and is often overwatered. Get a pot that can drain easily, and if it starts turning yellow, it's getting root rot! It will get dark green if it needs water. Also, you can prune it and make it grow super huge!! We use our own in-house grown basil at the pizzeria I work at :)

Just watching this and love it. Not a spider fan but I’m the same as what you said. A google search found that my porch friend was a common spider so her name is now Charlotte. Her friend who showed up a week later is Douglas. I couldn’t help myself. Since then, Charlotte has moved her nightly web from on part of the porch above my chair to above the door...Charlotte and Douglas get to stay until such time as they touch me...then there are no promises. Now we just have to figure out this NC tick problem...ive never had ticks on my front door before.
