After plunging into British Columbia the crew sets out on their most ambitious adventure yet. The Alexander Mackenzie heritage trail! Fuel, navigation, breakdowns, and the elements all come into play on this epic final leg. #xoverland #overlander #mackenzie

What's so great is that, regardless of the hardship you were going through, you never compromised on continuing to film. It must have been incredibly tedious and time consuming to do so during those times when you were just strung out wasted tired, but you did so anyway. Bravo gentlemen. Job well done!

'Wearing pants might have prevented the injury'.. That is true. Also, using the attached safety strap would have helped too ;) Sorry, had to be that guy. I always get clowned on because I take the extra second to use that strap, but that was a perfect example of why it's important. Also important is using it correctly. Many will just run their hand through it, kinda like a lanyard or bracelet. This doesn't help much as you can still lose control and have a machete flinging around all over. The way it's instructed to be used has you running the strap back over the handle. You grab the machete like normal and pull the strap up over your hand, locking it to your hand. Works like a champ! Love your videos, really inspiring stuff! Now time to put some overland gear on the Forester... ;)

What a quality production. Likeable characters + superb footage + solid editing = Gripping videos. I really enjoyed how the whole group pulled together and that the production wasn't Survivorized. No drama just regular folks getting out there and adventuring. Regular folks getting experience along the way. Making mistakes and learning from them. Again that was fantastic. I expect to see your next adventure series on the discovery channel at some point.

WHY IS THIS NOT ON NAT GEO?????????? Such a great series. I felt like I was on that trip with you guys.. I learned so much watching. Online ordering a list of crap you guys ended up needing (Wheel studs, Puncture Plug Kits, etc) I'm a pretty hardcore fan of Jeeps in General, but I'm very impressed with how well that Land Cruiser (and Tacoma) got through all that terrain. There were times when I was thinking "oh man, that's it.. gonna get stuck" and nope, got through. Those water crossings took some HUGE balls because there's no way you guys could know if there was low water then a flood ...could have made some deep channels!!! Truly impressed felllas (and ladies) I hope to see more videos in the near future!! Meanwhile I'll be prepping my 13' Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland for some similar expeditions. Side Note: I have a spot for you guys to look into for some future practice trips in Southern Utah, pretty gnarly terrain! I visit Montana a few times a year to explore but most fish the Big Hole River Valley...you guys live in awesome country!

This can't be on a major network because it doesn't have all the artificial interpersonal drama-bullshit that is required for a major network to pick up a reality show. And yet this is why I loved the video series. It wasn't artificial, it wasn't purpose built for brain dead masses, it was authentic and genuine and brilliant.

This has sincerely been the best car/expedition related series I have ever seen, hands down. I stumbled upon this video surfing KZfaq to see videos about how well the Tacoma performed off road. I have learned not only that, but how fulfilling it is to travel the world, especially through overlanding.
