Take it easy on yourself and let things fall into place, little by little. Pushing is hard on you. Let life come day by day, naturally. Then start making little plans and one day you will find yourself doing things you love. Make yourself your very best friend and enjoy that friend! That best friend (yourself) is there with you through the thick n thin. Cherish who you are! Baby steps! I wish you love in all that you do!

I like watching movie's like this. It's been helping me out lately. My husband passed away last November. It's still hard knowing he's never coming back to me. I miss him so much. I don't know what I'm going to do without him in my life anymore. These movie's help me not to think about it all the time. I've been staying in our home and not going out much. I know he wouldn't want me to do this. I'm working on getting out some. I will always miss him and love him so much. Thanks for the movie.

I love this movie already. It is so very nice that Kevin knows who his real mother was, from the beginning and to know his father wants him also. This is going to turn out very well with the both of them and especially for Kevin too. That little boy made the right decision. Jane Seymour is an excellent actress and so is James Brolin, a great actor. Anxious to watch it already. Thanks guys.

i went through the most awful betrayal and then parental abduction. what followed was a year and a half on court with lawyers and barristers and tragedy. I can honestly say that I wish there had been a powerful voice like that judge lady. and perhaps bring about a happier ending.

Should have watch this movie a long time ago. I can truly relate to this movie except for Mason character. I'm a single lady has a sister who passed away a couple years back, I inherited her two sons whom I cared and love so much and been finding ways to legally adopt them. Don't have to give birth to them to be their mother, love is all it takes, and that's true essence of being a woman.

You're very correct, as anyone can be a parent but not all can be either a father or mother. In other words birthing a child doesn't make one a mum or Dad, but the willingness to love unconditionally and sacrifice all that is necessary to ensure and insure their happiness and overall wellness

James Brolin is so handsoe. He reminds me of my husband. I loved him so much and am still grieving for him. He passed away 2 years ago but he is still in my heart every day. This movie really touched me. Jane Seymour is so beautiful and she protrayed herself as a loving mothe to perfection. This is such a lovely movie. Thanks for sharing it.

Watched this movie 10 times and it still thrills me. Never get bored with this movie. One of the few movies about life after having a child not just ending a movie with a kiss or an wedding scene. How i wish my life was like this! Sigh , back to reality

It was a good movie.. So peaceful. Love James Brolin and his son Josh Brolin. They both are very good actors. Jane Seymour was so beautiful then, and now, when you get older, Jane becomes so classic, so gracefully beautiful woman.

Children long for a two parents stable home.The judge is right, we attach too much novel romance to marriage.Marriage is a functional institution, to foster many social, psychological and even economic functions.Romance is a bonus but it helps to make a marriage exciting and more fulfilling

What a beautiful presentation of love. Mother for unborn son (gave her life), Sister for sister's son. (gave up her singleness and future to raise a "son."} Father for Son. (gave up his fear of commitment to be in his sons life) Son for Mother and Father. (Decided not to live life without the two people who he loved the most) Finally, the woman who saw beyond her hear of love, to release the man to be with the woman who had truly won his heart. (The ex-lover) Yes, a fantastic movie of love.

Shelley, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I lost my soul mate 2 years ago. The emptiness is always there, but it does ease. All I can say is try to think of the good times and don't let anyone tell you that you should be better by now. We all grieve in our way AND at our own pace.

I lost my Jim on Sept 2, 2020. He died from dementia. He was diagnosed in 2013 at the age of 56. So far, it’s not much easier. I said all that because I wanted to say this: People keep telling me it gets easier. I don’t exactly believe that. I had a complete stranger tell me that it doesn’t get easier, it gets different. She hit the nail on the head. I’m terribly sorry for your losses and whoever said that everyone grieves in their own way was absolutely right. There’s no timeline for mourning so don’t let anyone make you think you’re doing something wrong. I only had my Jim fir 12 years. But it was the best 12 years of my adult life.

I haven't seen this movie in years. But I love the fact that I can see it again in its full entirety this time around without having to tape it on tv with commercials, miss seeing half of it..because of a phonecall or someone showing up at your house!

No matter how you look at it I’m convinced that it takes people who are self confident, accomplished, determined, self reliant and caring enough to be flexible for someone else, to really succeed in any kind of relationship specially in a marriage and more so with children.

Yes...it is TRUE. Many of us African Americans are descendants of American Natives-NOT Africans. Listening to these drums lifts my soul. African drums had always repelled me before I read that I am actually American Native. I had always loved everything about American Natives.

What a delightful movie, I really liked when he replied to that woman that he doesn't want to tell Keven a lie about where he has been all night.. So glad they made it for real. Kevin was a delight.. Thank you for sharing this lovely film. I have been in love with Jane Seymour's timeless beauty forever. James Brolin has a very noble kind of handsome good looks. Together I thought they made a striking couple, and I also enjoyed the happy ending. What some people find "cheesy", others find rewarding especially when life can be very unpredictable. Go for the "gusto" when the chance comes your way and don't look back.

I am from a different part of the world and I too love watching such movies. I share the same situation and feelings as you Shelly. It’s been 8 years since my husband passed away and lately I don’t really feel like going out much. Really don’t know how I’ll spend the rest of my life.

This was wonderful. I've always been in love with Jane. LOL. Beauty beyond belief. Jim Brolin is also a 1st class man. He goes all the way back to Marcus Welby, MD, t.v. show, which ended in 1976 after a 7 year run. He seemed to disappear from the screen. A good man. Fabulous actor. Tall Dark Handsome, everything a woman wants. Wow, we have lived thru some times.

Once James Brolin married Barbra Streisand he didn't do much acting. That was too bad, he's a wonderful looking man and a good actor.

Wouldn't it be nice if Fairy Tales could come true.Have seen this movie several times,now.I think it gets better each time.Wonderful acting with a beautiful story.... Worth The Watch
