That was the technique smaller theater pianists used during the silent picture era, playing by mood. They never played exactly the same score twice. [The larger theaters might have permanent organist or pianist or string ensemble, who might play a studio arrangement which they rehearsed.]

Okay - but what makes something a 'master piece' is the it is played over, and over again!

All of your transitions; are absolutely seamless, in terms, of; how you carry your fingers; from each note to note; throughout the keys, on the piano. I am also a pianist; who is currently majoring in Psychology at Ohio State University. And, I had taken Piano Classes, at the university. In all honesty; your piano playing is; absolutely top notch; as well as your musical composing skills. I am also working on a a musical composition, at the moment; and, I am posting this composition, towards the end of next month, on my KZfaq Channel. Again, your musical talent; is absolutely mesmerizing and amazing. ✌️

I like the comment “CAME FOR THE BODY, STAYED FOR THE MUSIC”-EXACTLY, YET, in my 80th year, I find the experience of a young man so beautiful playing so beautifully, soothed my ravaged mind, and feeling like things are once more in my life as they should be. I had a boyfriend in the 60s who played masterfully, and often drove me in his little Volkswagen Beatle to magnificent palatial homes where he would play like this on a grand piano, someone graciously served us wine, cheese and a bunch of us young men would sing all the lyrics to all the Broadway hits,, popular songs, and sometimes the whole selection of music was of one fabulous musical, often played by sight read scores, and we lived like a civilized art loving group of young men, artists. I think this guy is fabulous. I salute him! How lovely it was to listen and watch over and over. You know, I can reconstruct my life history in my journal, year by year, and no where do I find this story about the grand piano, the Volkswagen, the singing, this group of guys…where the hell in my life did that dream like set of performances exist? I didn’t make this up. Did I have a parallel life in which I experienced music like this? No. I know it must have been in my life but no way in no way at all can I discover when this was my life. This young man seems like us back then, sixty or so years ago…he played this and i remembered this time in my life that was governed by love and music and pretty skin, lovely wrists, subtle beauty slowly intoxicating me…oh my. I’ve gone insane. I could live just watching him play. God bless him! And you!
