We went to Thessaloniki to see how the Ultras of ARIS, SUPER3, hosted their first derby in nearly five years against rivals PAOK.
From hosting friendships, creating TIFOS, organising Pyro, the ultras give us a behind the scenes look at how they prepare for this historic fixture.

Panathinaikos-Olympiakos and Aris-Paok are much bigger games than other European games in England, Germany and Spain. Football is played by fans, not just money... The atmosphere, passion and rivalry of the Greek Derbys are nowhere else in Europe

@@fryboi4896 This is all bullshit. Ultras might sound good from KZfaq. But when you are afraid of going to a match with your family and kids, then you are starting to see Ultras with different eyes. I'm from Greece, and I really like that in Europe you can literally sit next to someone from another team and cheer for your team and he for his, or both for both teams. In Europe football is at a VERY high cultural level that I really like. What you see here with Ultras is a disgrace for the amazing sport.

These Ultras are the types I like."Crazy but the right amount of crazy" Is the best way to sum them up. I love amazing atmospheres but I draw the line when things get physical or someone gets hurt.Banter is great and taking the piss out of the opposition fans but don't hurt someone.These guys not only created an extremely intimidating atmosphere but to add to it these guys are more than just football Ultras but genuinely caring people for their community. Which is proven by them going to that girls volleyball game to show support, and that was probably my favorite part from the video not the atmosphere or a y of the actual football but to see genuine caring people, showing the world you don't have to be crazy or a piece of shit to count as an ultra

This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. This shit is for the plebs to tie your identity to a dumb soccer team. It's people kicking a ball in a net. If you want to get tribalistic and threaten violence at least do it over a violent game like rugby or something. Or invent a new sport where it's like soccer mixed with the hunger games Soccer is a simple game that's fun to watch but does nothing beyond.. I can't even compare it to checkers it's more like playing connect 4. it's like watching a big version of ping pong? And you guys are lighting huge fires and and covering your faces like your part of isis over a kiddie sport.

@@Mynipplesmychoice you just dont love football, i mean you probably werent raised with it, probably with rugby, american football, basketball or anything else i dont know...however thats not something bad, you just cant feel the way we do, because you wont understand it. It is like a completely different world, to me for example fighting sports are extremely unattractive, i mean i watch special boxing fights with friends, but i have not the feel of adrenaline or the emotions or the enjoyment, that i get when my team wins. American football to me is so uninteresting, i always watch the superbowl with friends and yet after 4 years i still dont know the rules, teams that switch their cities year by year? this is unimaginable for us, people switching the team they support and stuff like that, in europe its different, so what in your eyes is nonsense, in our eyes is probably the second most important thing in life, and for me the sports that rule in america are completely lame (but thats our opinions and thats fine, if i were raised in usa i surely wouldnt say that)...conclusion, if you cant understand something, its totaly fine, but you cant blame others, because of that...

This is the spirit! I'm a lifelong BVB supporter but I also go to my local club Bonner SC..when the club had to withdraw his men's team for a whole season in 2010, we were supporting our U19 youth team..also on all away games. It was a marvelous experience not because of the quality of the football but because we had such a fun just cheering and singing for our club, our colours! I had to think of that because of the Girl's volleyball game, of course.. Big up to ARIS and Super 3 ! 👍 ..by the way, the postal code of Bonn also starts with 53 😁
