It's not wrong to have fears - that's normal! But you don't have to bow to it and let it control your life! Sadie and Korie are sharing stories of when they were the most fearful, anxious and worried and how they've learned to stop those dangerous loops and how to keep moving forward, doing it afraid! Korie remembers a time when little Sadie was overcome with anxiety at camp, but how that one moment was a pivot for how Sadie confronted anxiety later in her life ... and why you sometimes need to feel the fear to push you! Plus what are some practical ways we can stop anxiety and worry in its tracks? Sadie and Korie share their strategies that include everything from washing your hands in warm water to making a gratitude list. But ultimately, knowing and trusting God and relying on His promises is the best way to prepare for trials and getting through difficult moments that can come seemingly out of nowhere. The storm can seem much scarier when we know more about IT than we do about the Lord and His power!

I read Sadie’s books some years ago when I was living in fear and basing my identity on being anxious. Her words really changed my perspective on how I viewed my anxiety. I didn’t just want to be another statistic. In the name of Jesus I was freed from anxiety being my identity. Anyone else who is paralyzed with fear, keep facing your fears one step at a time. There is hope! You are more than your fears and anxiety. You are a child of God.

As a performer (country artist) I play at local places and I always doubt my abilities and even doubt God for calling me to perform but this message was so HEALING for me! Never to doubt what God calls us to even if it doesn’t come natural it shows his glory in the process. Love what your friend Lainey did! My parents do that to me as well and they keep me going even though I doubt. God bless you and your family!!!

When I tell you I cried through this whole video! I have been living with irrational fear for a long time and related so much to everything. Even the feeling that the plane was going to crash if you didn’t get off. I am learning everyday to have faith over fear and trust that God can overcome anything I’m dealing with. Thank you for sharing Sadie and Kori. I love when you two get together. Powerful conversations happen 😊🩷

I've barely even started watching but I will watch. I KNOW Sadie & Korie won't even be able to comprehend this but my only child & I were SO CLOSE! I thought. After 6 yrs of college, when she left home for good, she TORE into me, telling me all the reasons I ruined her life because she said I have so much anxiety and I taught that anxiety to HER! She said she has paralizing fear of any confrontation and so much more. I said I was just trying to keep you safe and I did my best! She said Well you did TOO MUCH!! I was flabbergasted and I literally laid on the couch & cried for a month after she moved out. That was 3 yrs ago. She & I are finally getting along again but I will never be the same person I was before that blowout. I have no resentment toward her whatsoever!! But I still feel like Man, I screwed up so bad.

Wish I had guidance on this growing up. My mother was abusive and would yell at me for behaviors that were caused because of anxiety. I think having that love and support from others is huge in conquering anxiety. Luckily eventually God put people in my life that filled that role. If you have people that care and stand by you don't forget to thank God for them. Some of us had to deal with so much on our own.

This is a fantastic video! I have struggled with anxiety my whole life but didn't realize it till I was married and had children and was struggling with circumstances that triggered it. Then someone told me what it was. I just thought everyone experienced it. (And some do.) My husband never has and it was so hard to work through it because he just wanted me to stop and not struggle with it. We both learned through it. I had to study the word and understand the power I had over it and that really helped the death grip of it. Now I just need someone to talk me through it now. I haven't had many panic attacks since but when I do I call someone or talk to my husband and I get through it. It tends to happen cirrcumstancialy. Thank you for talking through this. It's needed for us believers who can experience this even with knowing and walking with the Lord.

First let me say that I absolutely love your family and your speaking. I think that in situations of fear and anxiety it truly is a case of if the fears/anxiety are rooted in a neurodevelopment wiring way or based off of typical normal human fear. I use to get very defeated by messages like this that tell people if you don’t push your kids to face their anxieties that you are hindering them. Now I know that some kids are born where their nervous system is in a constant “threat” base and forcing them into situations of true fear/anxiety only increases that heightened response of their nervous system. Which in turn causes them to reach a state eventually that their body shuts down on them with all kinds of consequences. Only saying this because although most people have messages like these without intentionally doing harm, it can cause great emotional turmoil for the people/parents with kids who for years listen to this advice to only end up causing their child trauma and pain

I’ve been struggling with anxiety and clinical depression since 2017 and I learned about God in 2020. I learned that there was a God who cared about me and what I was going through and I felt so close to him but nowadays I don’t seem to feel like he’s there as much and that really worries me. I worry that I won’t get into heaven and I worry that I’m not good enough for God but I know that I don’t have to be good enough to be loved by God. I don’t know I guess I just want to know that I’m okay. I don’t read my Bible much just because I struggle with reading or listening to any book. And maybe that’s why he’s not listening. Because I’m not spending time in the word. I don’t know. I don’t feel like he’s comforting me through every panic attack or that he’s listening to me when I beg him to help me. I know it’s in his timing but it’s just scary not knowing. Sorry this comment is all over the place.

IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY CHANGE YOUR MINDSET. SAY FEAR IS A LIAR, I AM LOVED, I AM FEARLESS, I AM STRONG, I AM COURAGEOUS, I AM ENOUGH,ETC. AND YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL AND POSITIVE. THINK ON PURPOSE MINDSET IS EVERYTHING. GOD CAN HEAL YOU BY RELEASING YOU'RE FAITH. THERE ARE FOUR WAYS YOU CAN DO THAT. FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU AND STICK WITH IT. I PRAYED FROM A DEVO (SOME DEVO HAS PRAYERS AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH PAGE) GO THROUGH OF ALL THE PRAYERS EVERYDAY. GOD HEALED ME IN A YEAR. IT WAS WORTH IT. STAY STRONG AND POSITIVE. DON'T GIVE UP. BELIEVE. GOD LOVES YOU. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK. 🙏❤💪
