At last, an N gauge review! These look a bit more detailed than the first ones they did years ago. Don't recall having the door bangers. I've still got a few packed away somewhere. The main visual difference is the lack of "clear" couplings. Here's looking forward to more N gauge reviews as there's not many on KZfaq compared to OO. Well done Jenny!

Thanks Jennifer. I enjoyed your review of n guage that is what I have .I get my wagons and locos from rails of Sheffield they are bargains. Some of the 7 plank are a lot lot cheaper. I wish you would review locomotives as well .so thanks again. Dapol n guage locomotive are excellent, with a 2 year guarantee by for now Bryan

This was a nice surprise! I love your OO videos but never expected you to delve into N Gauge, though its a welcome surprise to be sure. I can't get enough of N Scale personally, especially such nice wagons as these, so I hope you may be able to look at N products for videos again in the future. All the best!

I enjoy all of your reviews, even the ones, like this one, that are of a different scale to the ones I model in, you are very good at these reviews, far better than certain other people and not biased towards one manufacturer or another.

Hi Jen, Great vid.. Loved this one because my family are from the valley and worked in the collieries- Abercrave, Ynyscedwyn, Diamond and so I've been collecting the wagons (00). and I've visited the sites. My grandfather didn't follow the family tradition, he went to work in the watch factory (known locally as "the tick tock"). On the Abercrave wagon NBR stood for Neath and Brecon Railway. Steve

Hi Jenny As always a very good review, although can you confirm (or otherwise?), if these Mathison wagons have NEM coupler pockets please, I see that you have changed one of them to go with your 009 Fairlie but was that an easy switch or more too it than that? Thanks for N gauge reviews I look forward to any (and all!) the reviews you do.
