It is a blessing. My kids met their great grandparents and had them in their lives into adult life. My 3 oldest anyway. My youngest (surprise baby) had them for the first 3 years. There are still 2 of my grandparents left though. I have 3 sets of grandparents, my mom's parents divorced when I was a baby, both remarried, so I have 3 sets of grandparents 😂

I only got to see 1 pair of grandparents; and they both passed when I was still quite young. The grandparents on my dad's side were long gone B4 I was born. And, unfortunately, my dad didn't live long enough to lay eyes on his namesake, who no longer speaks to me OR his sister/my daughter because he married a girl who came from a family with money and convinced him to completely turn his back on us. It's really very heartbreaking. He wouldn't have lived long enough to meet her, if I hadn't convinced his good -for-nothing "Daddy", that I would kill him with my own 2 hands if he ever hit him again; he had started sucker-punching him in the sternum, when he was only 4 yrs old !!!

Overtime I have noticed the big difference in size of the ears, foots and height of the people of this generation and that of the people that existed about an hundred years ago and upward. @@maiia273 I met my great grandma when I was 12. She was 104 at the time. The rarity of meeting twice great grandparents, is phenomenal really. My Dad got to meet his great grandchildren when he was 85. My brother and his wife were very young when they started having kids..15 and 18

Not a lot of people can say they have a 2x gt grandparent still living but it is actuallly possible to have 6 living generations.

All of my family members on my moms side live to be at least 95 to 100 and my last great grandmother was able to meet my two nephews when they were both born and she's still alive at 98. So cool to have a photograph of 5 generations

Good genes you surely have. Both sides of my family were long lived into thier mid 80s to early 90s even several generations back to the 1800s they lived longer than the average person. My 3x gt paternal grandfather lived to be almost 75 and he worked in the coalpits all his working life an occupation at the time in where the life expectancy was about 35. My parents didn't live quite as long as thier parents 78 for my mom 80 for my dad. @@HalfCapHilg
